You're far from the only one. I used to be indifferent. For most of my life I lived on the outskirts of the suburbs of a major US city. Homes were far enough away from each other that it wasn't too big of a deal to hear them in the distance.

Then I moved into a city proper. I hate them. I hate them so much. What once was a minor and predictable annoyance was now a month long game of "Fireworks or Gun Shots?" twice, sometimes several times a year. Because you can't just launch them on the proper holiday, no. You gotta do it a week in advance.

One time I lost the coin flip. It was gun shots, not fireworks. My wife and I are lucky the strays were above our heads.

  • Okay, I see where you're coming from and can agree with the perspective. I only take issue with the assumption that there was a lack of consent because it wasn't explicitly mentioned. We don't know what their safety system is, and the dominant could very well have been acting on something that was discussed, just exploring methods on how to achieve that result. But you're right, for something like this, you need to both have discussed exploration like that beforehand AND have a decent understanding of how your sub in that moment may end up in subdrop. Thanks for clarifying!

Right but this is cloud gaming on Xbox AND PC. User hardware doesn't matter so you'd only need to make sure it works on the cloud servers which should be allowed to be a heck of a lot more beefy when not restricted to Xbox architecture. Am I off base? I appreciate the insight.
