The only negative I see on here is “history of cheating.”

I could also see how “Girl Boss” can be negative, but not in a way he means it. He just means women who believe in working outside the home.

Edit: ok, smoking too - if we are talking cigarettes or meth. Smoke all the weed you want.

Depending on how "refuses to cook" comes across, that's a negative in my book. I won't want to cook every meal, I'd burn out. It's a requirement that they are at least willing to do it sometimes. (I like cooking, but some days are just overly draining and I need help)

"women belong in the kitchen"? WRONG

I dated a rich girl for a while who didnt cook, none of her family could. They had a part time maid who would cook for them a bit but mostly ate out and brought home extra meals. Like literally, every time they went out they'd order a couple extra meals to go.

At one point the mom was sad she couldnt get shrimp scampi anywhere in town. So I cooked dinner for them, because NBD. They thought it was magic, doubly so because im a guy. I litterally had to remove the plastic wrapping off the inside of the oven door to make garlic bread, and all the pots and pans still had stickers in the bottom.

At one pojnt I also had to teach my 38 year old GF how to operate a washer and dryer.

"History of cheating" doesn't necessarily mean "cheater." To those on a trajectory to make a mistake, far better lessons come from those who made mistakes and can explain how to avoid them than those who can only say, "don't make mistakes." I'm sure there's a better way to say this than the clumsy words I've chosen.

Dude. Me too. Not saying some of those were from feeling pressured when I was younger , but a handful was from genuine (tho fleeting) interest.

My logic is, I rarely (very rarely) feel that way so when I do and there isn't any obvious reason why I shouldn't (i.e they are in a relationship, or they are a co worker ) I go for it.

My perspective: . Life is only once. Enjoy yourself (or someone else) when you can.

Serious question out of curiosity, is it like a mental arousal only thing, or occasional sexual arousal thing? If I'm out of bounds I'm sorry. If you prefer not to answer or if this makes you uncomfortable, please don't bother answering.

Sexuality is a complex thing for anyone. Regardless of whatever identity they use for themselves.

I have actually a lot of friends who are asexual-ish. Once you are out with yours, you find that other people are more open with you about this.

For some people they still want a romantic partner but have little to no interest in sexual acts with others.

For others , like myself, I have no interest in romantic partners. And very little to no interest in sexual acts with others.

Some asexuals have normal or even high libido but don't feel that emotion directed towards others. I would describe this as like wanting a snack but you open the fridge and there isn't anything in there you want.

Some have very low to no libido.

Some people who are very picky about partners and take a long time to feel comfortable, to be sexual, also sometimes call themselves asexuals.

I'm not here to gatekeep but that really does sound like average sexual identity for most people. But if someone wants to use it for that, it's their choice.

There are like 10 sub terms for asexuals but I personally find that superfluous. Everyone is different. I don't need a special label. If I want to explain myself, I will.

Labels are limiting. And they sometimes make someone else think they get your whole deal when they don't.

This guy dreams of the times where.women were barefoot and pregnant, basically trained to be slaves to men.

Obviously, this loser sees his only chance of female companionship in someone submissive, as he seems incapable of a real partnership.

To be fair, a history of cheating in inexcusable.

No, having a literal history of cheating is just inexcusable, regardless of gender. Break up if it's a shitty relationship, or just don't get in a monogamous relationship in the first place. It's 2026, open relationships are a thing, or you can be single and fuck as many people as you want, etc. It's the lying and doing it behind your trusting partner's back that's the problem, not the polygamy.

And if you want an open relationship and your potential future partner doesn't... Well maybe find someone who shares your views instead of cheating on someone who doesn't?

Two of these are stereotype lies. The "no female friends" and "daddy issues".

Most women I know have lots of female friends. And have decent relationships with their dads. If they don't then the dad was a loser or toxic.

The rest aren't really insults, so. 🤷

Tbf, smoking is a no-go for me. And depending on the amount, drinking might be too. For the rest? I'm pretty sure if I found a woman like that, I'd find her extremely hot.

Same, except multiple baby daddies seems like really shit planning and poor responsibility to me. Yeah, it takes two, and you can’t help divorce sometimes, but multiple kids from different fathers on the surface seems irresponsible AF. If the kids make her happy then NBD and I can just sit down and shut up.

  • source
  • [+] -9 points 8 months ago* (3 children)

At least half of the things in the pic are things I would definitely avoid in a partner ("baby daddies", revealing clothes, not mom/wife material, girlboss, dislikes God [big show of ungratefulness], has a male bff but no female friends, etc), and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of men would also (barring parts of the West but one city in India is as populated as half of the Western world so 🤷). I still wouldn't complain about it or take the time to draw and do all of this, it's not like they're gonna randomly change their lives after seeing that pic, I'd rather just continue avoiding these women like I always have the same way women do with undesirable men.

Some of those things are just women being women. They come with kids from previous relationships sometimes. Sometimes they wear revealing clothing because it's hot out. Disliking god is a show of ungratefulness? Seriously? Has male friends?

You're really showing your character that you're an insecure man who needs someone they can control. They can't dress how they want to, be friends with who they want to, or believe in who they want to. They must fit your narrow worldview or else they aren't worthy for your praise.

    It's pretty gross.
