A smaller seat on a county district board but, Quinnie Pérez in Florida as well!
(Yes I looked for BLU engie gifs but they weren't as high quality.)
The NWSL and its fans has been real solid in defending against transphobia throughout the years and I wish the WNBA would take fucking notes on how it's done.
Something like https://lem.lemmy.blahaj.zone/c/nonbinary ?
100%, things for us at work are very much a combined effort and it really sucks to have to hide all of that out of fear of whatever kind of retaliation. We at least take solace in the times and places we are allowed to be open about us and I hope that y'all have similar spaces where you can properly exist. Work has consistently been just a place to fake it, no matter where we're working, but that doesn't take anything away from the system as a whole. - Phoebe (it/its)
We were informed about Mastodon from folks on Twitter back in 2019 that were looking to migrate. (I forget what Twitter was up to at the time, but part of me wants to say some form of censorship was going on) Never looked back on that end as Twitter's vibes were always rancid, well before the buyout, and the Masto instance we were on felt so much more like an actual community.
As for Lemmy, kinda similar story but we never had a Reddit. Never felt it necessary to interact with that community whereas this one feels more real, joined a couple years ago now I think?
We're also looking at WAFRN to replace or at least bridge from Bluesky, we kinda begrudgingly joined that site only after learning that Dorsey was out of the picture but it's just been nothing but the admins shooting themselves in the collective foot for as long as we've been on Bsky.
Easy Delivery Co. has been on our radar for a bit, it being on sale pushed us to grab it. Really cool vibe to the game and it hasn't been too demanding in what it asks of the player, at least so far. - Vire (vi/vim)
Anxious, anxious, anxious. Very much a "Something is definitely wrong but I just can't prove it." feeling with just enough random seemingly innocuous issues that are very easily explained away but when you combine the fact that they all happened over the same weekend make us freak out over it all. - Phoebe (it/its)
French Horn on account of all the spit it can hold.
Lawful Neutral while drawing, Neutral Evil while gaming or just relaxing.
