💯 That's an important distinction: Civil liability determines who pays for the damage, while criminal responsibility addresses whether someone's negligence was serious enough to constitute a crime. And that question absolutely deserves public scrutiny. Automation must not become a shield against criminal accountability.

When it’s a criminal matter, the assigment of blame is absolutely a public matter. If you or I caused a car accident with irresponsible use of an RC car or a consumer drone, we would be facing criminal prosecution. The fact that no one is likely to face charges in this case is a huge failure of public policy.
They have now upgraded to zip drives.
The robot was heard yelling "Bite my shiny metal ass!" as it ran away.
The responsibility should lie with the company that decided the robot was safe enough to deploy. How it distributes liability among its developers, manufacturers and suppliers is its problem, not the public's.
Yeah, that was my feeling on it too. Cute, but too itty bitty. I already have an android flip phone if I want that form factor.
It sounds like the Cubots would be ideal for you...IF you can find evidence of CFW unlocking your regional bands.
Sorry dude. Chin up - they nuked 3G here entirely. Which means none of the good, old phones work at all. I have a Nokia N95 that's awesome but I can't do squat with it as a phone any more.
Did it help you find hot milfs within a mile of your location?
I'll expose my port to you.
I got mine off Aliexpress, fwiw.

The phone itself is awesome. The T9 keyboard is ass (the membrane they used is just not good). I got mine in 2022 iirc. I cycle between my Samsung A20 (yes, it still works well, 9 yrs in) and the local equivalent of the TCL flip (android 8.1 based).
I actually just installed this on it and it's blazing fast STT now -

Edit to add: I have the F21 (the smaller one, candybar). The F22 is about the same height and an iphone, except halfish of the width.
Whomever allowed that robot outside is to blame. If they have grievances, they can sue whomever wrote the software or built the device. Keep sending the buck up until it reaches the top.
you would see these giant fucking satellites glinting in the sky literally every single dawn and dusk.
Well, I mean only if you're looking straight up at dawn and dusk. It won't be like a ring just over the horizon, it would be more like a ring that touches the horizon on one side, perpendicular to the horizon, stretches across the top of the sky, and then touches the horizon on the other side.
If you're watching the sunrise, there would still be too much light to see satellites, you'd really only be able to see them after dark, assuming you don't live in/near a city (in which case you just can't ever see satellites).
In my experience, the LLM usually proposes a solution, but it's a crapshoot whether it works well. And plenty of bugfixes go well beyond a few lines, especially in older code.
I think you misunderstood my post lol, the fact that the signature 27 has none of those features is the point
FAA: "Now introducing... The FACSIMILE (fax) machine!!"
Everyone: confused applause 🤔
Eh merde! As if near-chaos across France wasn't enough.

This dumb law might as well force people to go full sneakernet.
The US unfortunately has a monopolized market of either Google, Apple, Samsung or Oneplus phones. We really don’t have a lot of options unless if you buy an older phone from like 2016-2018 that can still give you LTE service, with the screen size is about 5.8 inches. Everything else is either too old/ obsolete, can’t used bands due to shutdown of 2G/3G, or it doesn't ship here cause of lack of band support or cost.
And these niche communities of phones (unless you look at some of the privacy focused ones) is not really helping that market either.
Failure rates and avenues that are predictable and can be operationally regulated around. That's a form of reliability that they want in that system. That's it. Plus it costs money to update things like that.
I was looking into it, thankfully this new tax was shut down in a vote. The French assembly originally rushed it through in an 11 to 10 vote on the 30th of last month. The parliament then shut it down with a 458 to 0 lol.
Reckon they would have to consider an access subscription on top of the game price. Otherwise they lose with every update and reinstall, and multiplayer games. Maybe a per-device charge.
I also tried to look up on where to buy the Duolingo F22 Pro, I couldn’t find it anywhere on where to buy i, but I know you can use it here.
I had one but the software was ass. I only had it for 3 months before recycling it. Screen is way too small, debugging it made it hella glitchy, there’s not really a true custom rom installation for it, and launching most apps made it buggy. I got so tired of it. Then I started reading about Unihertz’s track record of their devices receiving poor software and customer support, so I decided to not deal with that company ever again.
when it comes to small screens like that, the smallest I’ll do is close to 4.3-4.5 inches. 3 is way to small.
I'm here for some surfdom any day
GTA VI will cost €79.99 in France. After VAT, Valve gets €20. One download, at 210GB would cost Steam €11.55 in this tax. If you uninstall and reinstall once, Steam loses money on the sale.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any way whatsoever that Steam won't be passing this cost off directly onto users or just outright block French IPs. How incredibly stupid.
If it’s still using floppies in 2026, there’s likely a damn good reason. Nobody is keeping around something vulnerable to antiCMOS.b for no reason.
It is intentional. It solves a problem. And we’re going to regret this fuckery.
True enough.
