When have Republicans ever said they hated billionaires? They worship them.

They believe billionaires "work hard" and that their success has "nothing to do with the poor's poverty" and that they are "why you don't have it worse ackshaully"

Why does it matter how old my account is? I know what instance I picked. You are just too pussy to say what you mean because it's so much easier to throw insults from across the pond instead of actually doing anything about it. You aren't realistic and you are weak. Get a grip on reality, go outside, and do something that actually matters.

Imagine if that money went towards helping people, instead of promoting hate, stupidity, and greed.

    Billionaires and millionaires shouldn't exist.

I'm technically a millionaire and i'm two paychecks from being fucked. My house is half and retirement is closing up most of the rest. If the market crashes i'm also fucked. I don't bang kids.

While I don't doubt you work hard, I think having a big income disparity between the low and middle classes is still bad. Both of them suffer from inflated prices, it is just that the low incomer folk can't navigate their fiscal hellscape with any safety. Middle class people still have to pay through the nostrils for what they want.

By shortening the gap - say a $20,000 income for the low-income earner and $60,000 for middle class, the prices would be less painful for both of them.

By imposing floors and ceilings on income, with absolute caps on wealth and assets, the price band for goods and services could be narrowed into something more manageable. Both for individuals, and society in general.

many millionaire at least build up that wealth. but its the 10-100+millionaires, and billionaires that are born with a silver spoon. of course theres also people that are close or under the poverty line that needs the most boost.

This man is so absurdly rich that proportionally, if he had 1 million dollars, all of that election money would just be about 300 dollards spent.

Shows how $276M is nothing compared to $1T. And yet $276M is still a fantastical amount of money, to be poured on midterms.

No one should ever have the right to hold so much wealth on their hand.

Far-right billionaire Elon Musk is spending an unprecedented fortune helping the Republican Party maintain its majorities in Congress, according to a Monday report in The New York Times.

The Times used filings made with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to calculate that Musk has funneled at least $276 million to GOP groups and his own super political action committee (PAC) since July alone.

In total, the Times estimated that Musk has given $366 million in campaign contributions during the 2025-26 election cycle, which is even more than the $290 million he gave during the 2023-24 election cycle to return President Donald Trump and the GOP to power.

Here's a crazy idea: political parties should receive one set amount of money from a set fund, and all fundraising and private political contributions should be illegal.

I was fooled, I thought it was an account affiliated with the community, judging by its name.
