Yeah, that checks out.
After discussions with stakeholders,
Nothing good ever happens after these words.
Yes, but (at least here) there a not that many flatbed uses for the silly small bed large trucks that are all over. Lots of 1 ton and over flatbed trucks doing work, a few welders like those trucks for work. The massive trucks with tiny beds are not really meant to be work anything, they are just large passenger vehicles.
Well at least they are a good representation of the nation they are a diplomat of....
I never got this idea. If you have a business then having waste in that business is going to hurt just as much if it was your personal truck. Most places don't need a truck and those that do tend to get vans instead (think plumbers). And at least here the biggest ones are just for recreation since they have to pull their 1500sq foot 5th wheel.
True, if you can't you tend to just lie and say you did.
Wind is a killer, but I find (at least here) that when it gets -40 style cold it becomes quite still wind wise outside of a storm. If the winds blowing I am going to be inside.
And the voice! The same one over and over.
Oh its bad but even worse since "unalived" was still too spicy so its now things like "alt F4 life" or some shit. I like the creativity, but the censorship levels make me want to scream.
Oh it was needed here, but activly pushed into clown world numbers of inefficientcies. We have had cars that are very good on gas, now we have cars that say they are good on gas but use 3x what a car from the past would do. Its all marketing over function now and our auto industry is effectively dead due to it, people are (shocker) not buying enough $100,000 trucks that cost $10 in gas to go to the store.
You are but the americans seem to think every thing is a competition.
I have been told that 14 mpgs is really good for a truck (my 1986 c20 does a bit better and its a v8 and carboratred). They are not little guys, and in this part of Canada you have more trucks on the road then just about any other type, most with one person in them and nothing in the back. At least I try to only use my truck when needing to haul yard waste or something to much for my little car, but next door has 3 trucks for 2 people.
7 to 8 Lt per 100km is about normal here (depending on what you drive) in non trucks but for years people here relate success with a big truck.
