This was about a year ago. I sounded about half as good as I looked here to be honest, but it was still a really nice experience. My thighs are like a quarter of the size they were in that photo due to atrophy and a lack of estrogen

On an unrelated note, just got back on estrogen a couple months ago and the effects of testosterone are starting to reverse, so fuck yeah

It makes me sad when I see people in community describing themselves as a "transwomen" instead of trans women.

It's a word made up by TERFs and other transphobes to differentiate between cis or as they would say,

'phobic language
"normal"
women, and transgender women.

"Trans" is short for transgender, an adjective modifying the noun "women." Hence, it should be two words, trans women. Same as tall woman or short woman, not tallwoman or shortwoman.

Democrat Chris Mann leads by about 13,000 votes, months after Kobach defended a law that revoked almost 2,000 trans Kansans’ driver’s licenses.

I've been on HRT for nearly two years and repeatedly explained to them the legal discrimination that I'd face working for the federal government, let alone the gd military. They still send me recruitment ads and have given out my number in the past. It's freaking exhausting.

Even if I wasn't trans, I would still refuse to fight for a pedophilic, egomaniacal president that bombs schoolgirls to get his mushroom-shaped phallus hard.

Do not forget how much I love you,

And know that you are doing fantastic.

And how beautiful and precious you are.

You are still here, in this present moment.

And the present moment is special because you are here for it.

Thank you for you. <3

So for context, I came out to my parents last year and they've been supportive, even though their old-fashioned ways mean they often don't understand the details.

I didn't shave yesterday because I was sick and too tired to do anything for too long out of bed. This morning, I went down to get breakfast and started talking to my parents who where both in the kitchen. In the middle of a completely unrelated topic between me and my mom, my dad interrupted and said he wants me to grow a full beard. He ran his hand over his upper lip and chin to indicate the stubble I still had.

I said that was the opposite of what I wanted, and that I wished my facial hair wouldn't grow back. My mom got what I was saying immediately, which surprised me, and she kinda got pissed at my dad asking why he would say that when I'm already trying to change into a woman.

Now, I wasn't really all that upset, because I know my dad didn't mean anything hurtful and he just had a lapse there where he forgot that I don't have the male interests or goals he would assume me to have. And I don't blame him since I'm still not really passing, and even with my casual fem clothes and bra, the stubble on my face probably stood out more.

I was about to head back to my room, but then he went up to me and said, jokingly, if only I could give all my facial hair to him. I laughed and said yeah, that would be nice. He was being lighthearted about it, but I recognized that this was his way of trying to correct course on what he said after realizing that it was wrong.

Overall, I'm happy that my parents are being supportive despite stumbling sometimes, and this encounter today showed we can have a conversation about these sorts of things without it becoming a huge deal. As a transwoman going through a lot of firsts recently, this kind of peace and calm from the people close to me are what I really need from my support network right now.

This is an old picture from this past summer. I found it really funny (and kinda cute), so I wanted to post it, cause it gives me joy (the name of the community). Enjoy! :3

Yes, that is indeed me wearing a skirt, fishnets and a hoodie...early transition was wild 😭

I saw a post earlier (not on the fediverse), about a trans woman who had a date with a cis man who was pretty clearly into her, fliriting and stuff, but then as soon as she told him she was trans the guy immediately acted different, said he wasn't into her and just wanted to be friends, etc. The poster was obviously upset by that and was trying to vent about it online in a women's community who claim to be trans inclusive, but so many of the replies were about how he wasn't transphobic, how he was such a good guy for giving her the bare minimum respect after learning she was trans, how its not transphobic to not be attracted to trans people, etc. That's also not even what the poster was saying, she just wanted support after a shitty date, something which the community is perfectly capable of doing when a cis woman is seeking it.

But also like the guy was attracted to her! He just immediately changed his mind upon learning she was trans, which is literally just transphobia, holy shit. And almost all the supportive people in the comments or anyone saying that were getting piled on.

I already know the majority of cis people don't see us as actually being our gender/sex, but it still fucking sucks everytime I see something like that that reminds me of that fact so starkly.

Edit: The number of cis people coming in to this thread and doing the exact same fucking thing I'm complaning about in this post is wild holy shit. Like congrats on not having any ability to read the room l guess lmao.

Arizona, Missouri, Texas, and North Carolina all have realistic shots at seeing their gender affirming care bans and other anti-trans laws repealed because of the election results.

So, I have been very into skirts since my junk grew back to pre hrt size, especially since I can't tuck day to day while trying for a baby, and skirts are genuinely saving me from constant dysphoria because I can make my very obvious bulge disappear. In this regard, they are magic.

I had an experience today that just, broke my brain a little bit. I ordered a garter belt because I got into thigh highs a little while ago, (I'm in my dressing like a slut phase okay?) and they do not like staying put, but it came with a mesh g-string I wasn't expecting. I tried it on and was shocked to find I could actually comfortably put things away in it, so it was approved for wearing. Anywhore, I wore the garter and g string as a surprise for my wife today, and put only a skirt on when I would normally wear shorts or leggings under a skirt, especially now that it's getting colder. I did not realize how much I rely on feeling the fabric on my butt to be able to trust that I'm covered! I had absolutely fuck all on my cheeks under my skirt, but it was impossible for anyone but me to know that because skirt! I thought a couple times I was showing something I hadn't meant to because I couldn't feel anything on my cheeks, but then remembered the skirt. It's like, I can dress however the fuck I want and show all the skin I want, but also look totally modest and not draw attention! The possibilities for being secretly dressed all sexy like with nobody knowing are limitless!

Skirts are rad, and I'm so glad I'm able to wear them!

Did you know that you are amazing, pretty and cute?

Huggles are needed for someone as dazzling as you!

I am soon to loopy-sleepy state, but I am still here until then~! Hope your day has gone well! Mine was..interesting, but not bad! The nobles decided not to cause trouble so there is not much concern anymore.

In short:

Calvary Health Care has confirmed it will cease IVF, elective abortions, voluntary assisted dying, and gender reassignment surgeries at Newcastle and Hunter Valley Private Hospitals.

The Catholic provider hopes to take control of the two hospitals by the end of the month.

What's next?

The formal sale is still subject to regulatory approvals.

excerpt:

Whaley faced a campaign eligibility complaint during the primary from her Democratic opponent, Frank Liberati, and again faced transphobic attacks in the general election cycle from Republican Ron Kokinda, who she defeated by a 24-point margin on Tuesday.

Whaley and her campaign — which was not focused on her transgender identity, but on affordability and accountability for her Downriver district — were able to overcome those types of attacks twice, which Whaley said makes her believe that the messaging attacking her for her gender identity did not resonate with voters, in her district or elsewhere nationwide.

“I think our community and the state in general has finally said we reject culture war crap. They want politicians who are going to do the work and show up for them,” Whaley said. “This election cycle, from the U.S. Senate down into our race, were some of the most vile, disgusting political attacks I think I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. I am really proud of our community for sifting through the junk and listening for the substance.”
