If I'm lucky they'll finally shut the fuck up about "Somalians"* and talk about football instead, even though I don't really care about football.

*(I understand "Somalians" isn't what they're called, but the racists in my family never bothered to learn that.)

A lot of data center stuff was on the ballots and quite a lot of it was rejected by voters. They may not be able to use the RAM they're hoarding. If investors pull out of AI, they'll have no choice but to sell it off to pay the bills.

I'm not real savvy on this stuff though, so it's just an uneducated guess of mine.

I worked with not one, but two people who left skid marks on the toilet seats of both the men's and women's bathrooms. I can't count the number of times I flipped out about it because I was always the one to clean it, literally wiping other people's asses. I would've said "fuck it" and just left the shop to use the bathroom at the gas station and let them wallow in their own filth, except it was embarrassing as hell to let customers use the bathrooms, especially since I was typically the only one at the sales counter.

I complained over and over again to my boss, who finally started writing them up for it, but it was a worthless company that never followed up on that stuff. Eventually one of them was transferred out and fired over some other incompetence, but the other was still there shitting on the seat when I eventually got fed up with those people and quit.

I hated quitting the job, but it's satisfying to know that it's not my problem anymore.

Planes are magnets. They are polarized depending on whether they are in the northern or southern hemisphere so that they have the same field pointing at the Earth's field. The magnets repel each other and the plane flies.

When a plane crashes, it's because the pilot tried to cross the equator.

I don't like eggs. I don't like the smell, I don't like the taste, I don't like the texture. I'm not allergic to them, but they make me gag. Whenever it comes up with someone who doesn't know me, I'm typically drawn into a tedious recounting of why I don't eat eggs and then the inevitable "You'd like my eggs, I make them differently." Oh, do you now? You've got a magic recipe that makes them not taste, smell and feel like eggs? If that's the case, what's the point of eating them?

All that to say, people should be left alone about their food preferences. In fact, there should be no conversation about what's on somebody else's plate beyond "that looks/smells good" and even then, only if they are dining together.

Except in the case that they're eating human meat; Questions are required.
