I've been working on a setup similar to this. I'm not sure if I'm going more this route or Plasma Bigscreen. I got a bit into it and then the decade old laptop I was repurposing started having bios issues, so now I've got to update bios to the latest version for that hardware and if that doesn't fix it, I'll harvest it for parts and build something with its corpse.

    • The last major patch was forever ago and it banned almost every player at the time.
    • The dev(s) are super quiet. No one seems to have talked to them and those who claim to have talked with them have real "my uncle works for Nintendo" vibes so no one knows if anyone has ever talked with them.
    • We don't fully know how the physics engine works yet, and the dev(s) aren't answering.
    • There's a thriving modder community but most servers hate modders and try to ban them. There isn't a modder only server yet, but we're getting closer as other servers keep forcing us out.

That's a lot of the argument around lab grown meat which has technology discovered through nonvegan means, but that really depends on how far you want to take veganism. Would you reject most medical procedures because they were developed through nonvegan means? I wouldn't, nor do I think people should, but if we created a species that only wants to die, that seems very unethical and like we're taking away their free will. Can they really consent if they only ever want to die? I don't think so, and I wouldn't wish that existence on anyone.

As long as there's consent, yes. Animals can't consent, but humans can. As long as you consume human semen, it's vegan. The donkey semen the contestants drank in that one episode of fear factor is not nor could ever be vegan.
