Ruling party called communist, that has nothing to do with communism, and does something bad - communism is evil, the worst thing ever imagined by humanity.

Ruling party called democratic, that has nothing to do with democracy, and does something bad - obviously it's not democracy's fault.

I agree with the middle section of your comment, and I think it's very reasonable. It's nearly impossible, and in fact, seems to not be the case, that any system currently available would be the answer to all problems of the present and future.

    However, the opening feels manipulative.

First of all, maybe I missed something, but when was there communism in Romania? Communism, as in the definition - no classes, no currency, etc., not just a ruling party called 'communist'. Last I checked that never took place in Romania.

Second, capitalism has killed and continues to kill anywhere between 100x more and 10000x more people than 'communism'. But for some reason this is only ever used as a point against communism, and never against capitalism.

A lot more people around the world can easily say the same about capitalism. Their entire families are dead because of it. But you don't seem to care, or notice. Which, and why is that, exactly? Because you don't know them? Because they're far away? I'd love to know.

And, I'm sorry to say, but the ending is just plain pathetic and selfish. If you don't want to engage with people on a forum, then stop posting. Maybe start a blog and disable comments.

The exact same points you're making could be easily made by the capitalist class. And if you cried about it, they might very well respond with:

Go ahead and downvote. You'll never win an election anyway. I don't even care.

What'd be your answer to that, I wonder. Although that may very much be hypothetical, because I get the feeling you come from a specific background that can afford a moderate stance on the socialism vs capitalism issue. Feel free to correct if wrong.

What is the point of a 1900€ phone? What is the target audience? How is it better than a 500€ phone?

Questions more towards Motorola than Graphene, but I doubt the Graphene foundation went into the partnership without knowing what kinds of specific phones would be covered.

I started hunting deer years ago because I wanted to be a part of the process, like if I couldn't handle killing and gutting an animal I shouldn't be eating meat.

Sorry for the extreme parallel, but... "If I can't handle murdering a defenseless child, I shouldn't be in the military."

Have you considered... just not doing that?

    Also, I fucking love it.

    I guess there's the answer.

I tried writing my comment as nicely as possible, but the post seriously reads like a billionaire's diary. I don't know how else to put it.

The United States has extended visa restrictions on Palestinian Authority officials and PLO members, barring President Mahmoud Abbas from traveling to New York for the second year in a row.

The restrictions mark the second consecutive year that Abbas has been prevented from attending the annual high-level session in person.

The U.S. Department of State attributed the decision to what it described as the Palestinian Authority’s failure to carry out reforms and its continued activities that, according to Washington, undermine prospects for peace.

Microsoft just dropped a bombshell at Computex 2026 by unveiling the most powerful device ever to bear the Surface name. The newly announced Surface Laptop Ultra is a direct answer to Apple and its dominant MacBook Pro lineup. Built in a deep partnership with NVIDIA, the new flagship laptop runs Windows on Arm and completely redefines professional computing.

Ever since the Surface division came into existence, I’ve always wondered why they didn’t go all in and make an ultra-powered device. As the MacBook Pros started gaining rave reviews from YouTubers, I started waiting for Microsoft’s response, and now we finally have it. Surface Laptop Ultra is arriving in stores this fall, 2026.

Surface Laptop Ultra N1X brings 128GB unified memory and a mini-LED display The hardware specifications for the Surface Laptop Ultra are absolutely staggering. The chassis weighs less than 4.5 pounds (~2kg) and houses a prominent dual-fan cooling system designed to prevent aggressive thermal throttling during heavy rendering workloads. Microsoft is offering the sleek device in Platinum and Nightfall color finishes.

Opening the lid reveals a beautiful 15-inch mini-LED PixelSense Ultra touchscreen. The panel features a sharp 2880 by 1920 resolution at 262 pixels per inch. The screen hits an incredible 2,000 nits of peak HDR brightness, easily making it the brightest display Microsoft has ever shipped on any device.
