I mean, you are literally threatening to invade them and to welcome their independent movements ...

NORAD can no longer even be trusted, although pulling out of it will push them towards NATO and the EU, so thanks in advance.

"Hey, remember when we turned off your allies access to intelligence in Ukraine because our president had a temper tantrum? Or when NATO had to send troops to deter American aggression? Or how we threaten to weaponize every American dependency we can? With all that in mind, how can you buy from anyone but us?!?"

Time to summon Hoekstra for a rebuke. Send him packing back to the Premier diaper Don, the bone spur draft dodging pedo protector.

    I think norad is dead.

But if the US wants to lay out some cash as investment, we'll let them access the readings. Our dishes, our people, but if they pay subscription and capital then they get a copy of the data.

Greasy racist fucker… and an absolute idiot! Even if Carney thought the F35 was the better choice, purchasing it now would make him look like he was weak and submitted to the bullies. But since idiots are idiots, they keep piping up and shooting themselves in the foot every time.

Someone should have told the Orange Menace that NORAD would change if one of the two members of the alliance started acting like the enemy of the other.

If Canada is an equal member partner in NORAD then shouldnt Canadian defence companies have the same bidding rights on US defence projects as US companies?

Y'know as apposed to all of those defence comapnies moving south so they can bid?

Unfortunately this marraige is full of hippcrasy and double standards..

    Extorting motherfucker.

We are not saying we're buying nothing, we would be buying a trusted partners aircraft, and not planes from an imperialist fascist oligarchy.

    Actually that's not even true.

WE WOULD BE BUILDING OUR OWN FUCKING AIRCRAFT

Good luck getting early warning for ICBMs coming over the polar region, Hoekstra! Dumbfuck.

We very badly need air defences. We don't have so much as a shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missile, let alone anything long-ranged.

Honestly, I'm increasingly looking forward to the moment when Trump finally fucks off, if for no other reason than I no longer have to hear the shit that comes out of Hoekstra's mouth. He has the verbal equivalent to the world's most punchable face.

The US can't just "change the pact". It's a fucking agreement between parties.

What he means to say is "If you don't bend to our will, we will invalidate the pact and do what we want."

Pete Hoekstra is a fucking tool and should be banned from Canadian soil.

Good, America has NEVER defended Canada, just its own i terrsts at our loss. Fuck em

We should get our inital investment back since there was no comparisons except between locheed and boeing.

The USA "changes pacts" these days more often than Trump changes his underwear. (I have it on the good authority of pulling it straight out of my ass that he does so weekly, whether they need changing or not.) What the fuck kind of threat is "do what we say or we'll continue doing what we've been doing nonstop for a year"?
