Control is one of my most favourite games of all time but just haven't been able to muster up any interest in this one. I think it's because they picked the weakest character of the entire game to be the new protagonist and that really killed my curiosity.

and also the fact it's $80CAD. It can wait.

    Baldur's Gate 3.

I normally hate turn-based games with a passion, but they way they handled it is amazing. Combat is visceral, brutal, and rewards the player for spending time to think before they act. You can do some really crazy stuff if you think outside the box prism.

Going to be migrating some of my info and deleting my account later today. They've been making bad headlines a bit lately but this paints a very clear and bleak picture. This company is completely fucked unless it has a total change in both leadership and company policy.

We've all been down this road before with these AI-obsessed dickweed tech CEO's. We know how this ends.

Touchscreens have their use on other devices but are a gimmick on laptops. Reaching up and over your keyboard, suspending your arm in the air while you tap on a thin, wobbly display is an ergonomic disaster and a shite input method in general.

Now if the screen can flip around into a tablet position then it makes a lot more sense, but just a touchscreen on its own is a gimmick.

My completed take on the game asset creation course by Creative Shrimp. This was a really interesting and fun lesson in creating something with a lot of detail and the baking that detail to something that can be used in games or in more dense scenes. Retopology is something I'm always looking to improve on and learn more about so this was greatly appreciated.
