Sure. I was planning on voting NDP in the next election same as I did the last. Honestly, around these parts criticism of Carney and the Liberals is infinitely more likely to be coming from the left so I don't know why you would assume otherwise.

I'll also note that Carney is hardly allergic to O&G investment. Another part of the AI for All strategy is that it creates a market for natural gas.

Carney thinks he's the smartest guy in every room and he is a full on AI evangelical. As long as he is PM with a majority, we will be going all in on this stuff. And according to his AI for All strategy, the goal is to make you use it.

This is private equity, this is what it does.

Buy up businesses, run them into the ground, and rip them apart for short-term profit.

The developers at BioWare know how to run the studio. They know how to make the games we all love. They should be given the first opportunity - and the federal support - to buy it and run it themselves.

And if we want to avoid the Mass Effect effect in Canada, we should be keeping private equity out, not welcoming it in.

Wow. Who knew that allowing wealthy individuals to purchase the means of disseminating information would result in that information favouring the views of that wealthy owner. I'm sure unlimited political donations doesn't result in anything similar, either.

we’re not in a left/right struggle as much as we’re in a class struggle against the billionaires.

This is just a reframing of the left/right struggle, though. The right has always been about maintaining the privileges of the ruling class since the terms were set when the Monarchists sat on the right side of the National Assembly.

He was thinking his opponents were in disarray. What he should have been doing, though, is remembering how quickly the right came together before the last election. They can unify pretty quickly, if temporarily, when it means these grifters will get a chance to rob the public coffers.

And thanks to the international right wing media ecosystem that has been built up over the last couple of decades whatever party emerges from that process can count on a significant amount of support no matter how obviously incompetent they have shown themselves to be very recently.
