Ethiopian veggies are great but yebeg wot is on a different level.

There's tasty vegan food for sure hut there's usually a slightly tastier horrifically unethical alternative.

I agree with op, I think vegans are right, I basically support them but ain't converting. Realizing they were right on food made me a lot less angry that other people don't feel the same way I do about sweatshop clothes and they, like me are doing their best. Some prioritise animals in tortorous conditions, others prioritise kids in poor ones, others look after drug addled first worlders, everyone's got their own moral priorities.

Listening to book 9 of Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's a great "going to bed a little toasted" kinda series.

Edit: So toasted, I forgot it was book 7 and I'm worried because book 9 isn't done yet! That and the horrific inevitable pauses after that... Ugh.

the very existence of private domestic shippers in countries indicates a failure of their government to provide universal infrastructure needed by all citizens.

Nothing about providing a nationalized service forbids you from using alternate means you find more suitable. That seems like a false premise to me.

These don't seem particularly compatible. According to you, the mere existence of an alternative is a government failure.

To extrapolate from Stevens to all centrist Dems is wild. Chuck Schumer, not exactly a progressive firebrand called Stevens’s Rogers endorsement ‘a despicable betrayal.'

While we're unlikely to go out and buy a motorcycle or "Standard wood moldings of pine" I imagine there are some where it wouldn't be hard to consume more. I know molasses is one and heck, cornbread and molasses is delicious.

In part, this is inspired because I thought I was doing my Canadian duty by buying a giant thing of Crown Royale, turns out those are now exempt.

Or if there's some well maintained, easy to read list, that would be super appreciated. I'm finding a lot of very technical government papers and oddly confusing news articles.
