I got a rock-5-itx in the before times with a decadent 32GB of RAM. It's my home server, and it's currently using 19/31GB:

The headroom is nice, I guess. Sometimes I spin up whole desktop dev environments I can access remotely.

I decided to wait until a few seasons were done after watching the premier. I sorta thought it fizzled out based on what I had heard about it. Season 2s can sometimes be the best a show has to offer, though, so who knows?
Every time I see people on /r/TrueAnon talk about lemmy, the excuses they make for not switching over convince me that they are constitutionally not capable of understanding it. That's fine, I guess. There are a lot of really stupid fucking people posting there.
I'm in a terrible mood today.
They've got that whole "dark factory" thing going on right?
I wanna wander around unsupervised in a running dark factory, what a surreal environment I'm imagining.
Valve will take the cut from the sale no matter what of course, but the DRM and even the in-game Steamworks integration is actually optional. You can publish DRM-free files on Steam which do not require Steam to run at all if you want. People might get grouchy if you skip achievements and save sync or whatever, though.

And to further clarify, you do not need to eschew achievements and that other stuff if you want your game to work without steam. You can make your game check to see if steamworks is working and then provide those services if if available.
They're much more than a car manufacturer, right? It makes sense. I remember reading that they make nearly every component of the vehicles themselves, doing everything except maybe the tires and the glass. Assuming I'm more or less right about that, I wonder how many of that number is involved in just assembling vehicles.
I'm an ml user, listen to me. I think you should vote, personally. I don't think it's enough for what needs to happen, but yeah, do it.
Now that you know my opinion, you may all proceed. π
Piss in the shoes, got it.
True from what I've read, and honestly I never used it in that form. I was mostly gaming on consoles at that time.
If Valve just made using Steam as soul-crushingly painful as we imagine it must, we might have a chance! Imagine what could be if the wizards behind the Google Play Store took a shot at making Steam!
There's not enough salt in the world!
