While that is a shitty car 'invented' by a shitty human, I wish more car companies would dare to create cars that look different. It's 2026 and our cars still look like they did 20 years ago.

“I hope this conviction sends a clear message that no one is above the law, no matter how famous or powerful they may be.”

Well, as long as the US has a convicted felon and known pedo as their president, this sounds hollow.

Of course they are not the same.

Republicans are corrupt to the bone. Openly racist, pedophile protecting, destroying the democracy, etc. I could go on.

Democrats have some corruption and some bought politicians and in contrast to the Republicans even a handful of good ones!

What we are seeing is why we should not support closed models. The companies like OpenAI and Anthropic can change the rules of usage at any time they like and for any reason. Today it's reverse engineering. Tomorrow who knows what.

There was no official ruling from the courts that forced them to do this. This was just something they didn't like.

Remember that these are the companies that gave millions to Trump as a bribe for the inauguration.

Physical AI isn't that good yet. It's getting better, but we are still at the beginning. AI hasn't been out of the AI winter for long; these things take time.

That being said, "dumb" robots already do a lot, and that will probably expand too with new AI support.
