This is so wholesome. I'm really happy for them and it makes me wonder if maybe we could make environmentally friendly hamster wheels outside for animals to use.

This made me realize something too.

Part of the reason why some people defend AI is because they have lost touch with and respect for the process.

When I watch a crafts video on youtube I enjoy watching the process. I enjoy seeing the faults, the struggles, the explanations of what is occurring. I've noticed that a lot of more recent crafts videos(human made) don't do that. Instead of discussing plans, struggles, explaining what's going on the video just shows the result of each step and adds a bunch of memes. I usually click off whenever this happens but it makes me realize that a lot of people have very much so lost touch with the idea of working hard for something and respecting the hard work someone else puts into their creations.

    I'm tired boss, I'm tired.

I try to do my best to avoid a lot of political news yet stay aware at the same time. My battery is going on empty. Yes, I promise I will vote, I always do. I just genuinely don't have the mental energy to read about the horrors that occur day in and day out anymore.

They've been doing this elsewhere too.

Check their comment history, they're really just a problematic person in general. It's weird because in a discussion earlier they were defending AI too.

My family is the same way. Very conservative and will say the exact same thing as yours regarding the homeless comment and even accuse you of being closeted.

Really wish I didn't have to deal with them.

It does make weeding people out of your life easier though.

When you ask for very little from your friend circle or your relationships it's a lot easier to see if people make an effort or not.
