Most newer cars have a setting that allows changing your headlight beam angles to aim lower.

There's also the options of physical adjusting your headlights or swapping the bulb to something that's won't illuminate the moon while you drive.

I set my headlight to aim about 2 degrees lower, but I also drive a smaller compact so my headlights are not at eye level by default.

Also, if you do make the adjustment try to aim lower then the back license plate of a car infront of you, or at the very least not directly into the side mirrors and rearview mirror of the car infront of you.

Unfortunately the best option is to not use these type of sites, especially if they are asking for identification or personal information. The web worked well enough for years with people just using usernames.

Personally when friends or family ask me why I not on a specific platform my response is usually because of the algorithmic feeds. This gets the conversation going where sometimes I get someone to actually switch.

The second best option if you really need to lurk on sites like this is using your "porn star name". If you happen to know someone that makes fake ids, get one made using your alternative online identity and use that for when a website ask for it. You might even be able to use a AI image generator to produce something, or depending on your Photoshop skills you could go that route.

If eating at a cafe or restaurant I generally tip, but only if these is table service.

If I am purchasing and leaving then I consider that "shopping" and I don't tip at grocery stores as a example, so I am not tipping.

You will find most small businesses program their POS (Point of Sale) systems one way for all their checkouts. So if they need the option for tipping on one POS, it's their default for all their POS.

Or employees using AI to generate their work/content now need to spend equally as much time reviewing their generated work/content.

It's like being a manager and asking your employee that you know always fucks up to do something. You have two options, get the employee to write it, then you check it after, or you write it yourself and save time on explaining or checking.

There's a common pattern with public transportation projects in North America in general.

When a project is built city planners use the opportunity to widen streets, roads, build or upgrade bridges, and do this all in a effort to not diminish the amount of lanes previously available to vehicle traffic. Something even adding a new lane where one did not exist beforehand.

This means when new stations go in, or there is any above ground transit corridor, a good chunk of the cash gets funneled into "car centric initiatives" as opposed being solely allocated for the transit line.

In the area I live we have a tram line that went in not to long ago. It has both above and below ground sections. Along the whole corridor the city street was repaved, and at the street level routes the street was completely reconfigured and widened. This includes sidewalks, benches, planting, landscape, curbs, mediums, traffic lights and signaling, electrical, and storm water. The costs ballooned obviously.

It's almost like city planners were working on the assumption the public was still going to choose to drive, as opposed to take the new transit line. So all efforts and funds were put to work in a way not to inconvenience drive in the slightest.

So in the end the project costs are higher, and the public does not question all the shiny new car infrastructure, but then proceeds to ask why the transit line was so expensive in the end.

Its nice seeing a transit station thats along a pedestrian area as opposed next to or in-between 6 lanes of vehicle traffic.

Transit and transit station should always bring people as close to where they want to go as possible. Example having a station next to a malls entrance or directly underneath, or having a subway that connects directly to a airport terminal.

Are there any guides you follow so I can get a better idea how or what I should be aware of when moving from gmail go mailbox or something similar.

I have a few domain names, but wonder how I would use those names with mailbox for example, and what was your process for moving all emails from gmail to your new mail provider?

Dos you start by mostly forwarding everything and then slowly switching email accounts on all your online services? Or is there something I am missing?

Today Doug Ford will attack Toronto's autonomy, and choice for safe streets. As well as our right to choose how we get around our city, and to do so without getting hurt or risking our own safety.

Get ready Ford. There are FAR more cyclists now compared to 2012.

Oct 13. Tom Riley Park Parking Lot. 5pm-late. Bring food, water and layers.

Be prepared to arrive earlier in case crews try to do a sneak attack removing protect lanes and infrastructure.

This fight is more than just about bike lanes.

It's about demanding municipal governments be respected, and fighting an authoritarian who believes he can do anything against a city's own wishes.

This is your Dutch moment Toronto!

Asking for recommendations in how you might be getting around ID verification on websites and online marketplaces?

I want to be able to use my local online marketplace, but I keep getting asked to provide ID verification or my ads for second hand items dont recieve as many views as a result?

Edit: when referring to online marketplaces I was referring to second hand marketplaces like Carrot, Kijiji, Craigslist, Facebook.
