Britain seems to be going downhill fast. If you're trans, America is straight up a better deal at this point. Part of the problem is the coalitions you get in parliaments happen within our two major parties. So rather than a cogent far right base that has to compromise with moderates, they were able to hijack half our political structure with one win. Even so, until parties like AfD and its equivalents are banned, I wouldn't act smug. Looking at how political winds are blowing on both sides, we might soon be in a position where we're already rebuilding while you're in the thick of it.

Mmmm, no that's what the First Amendment is partially for. The government shall pass no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. I have a right to be a Satanist in peace without yokels shoving their way of life down my throat

Open world rpg with a superhero theme. You can play a few variations of a hero or villain, different builds have different powers. You can romance various unsuper npcs, some depending on morality; with quests to rescue them. The city is an open world where tropy incidents like bank robbings, cars in trees, villain attacks, and romance kidnappings occur as repeatable quests alongside the campaign. The campaign itself is a branching quest line with multiple divergence points depending on player decisions, and how those and many side quests resolve actually alter the open world, and the way you complete them effecrs what quests you unlock. The skill tree branches just like the questlines, and the player hits a level cap far too soon to max out everything. Meaning you can go a generalist approach, but you'll be a jack of all trades sorta build. Or, you can focus on a few branches, say max out super speed, but the level cap means you'll have to sacrifice things like super strength to do it.

I call it, Superpower. Its a pun on the political term

I (F26) work with a lot of foreign coworkers at a landfill. We pick recycling off a conveyor belt and are expected to do a certian amount a minute, or "pick speed". Theirs are regularly low. Additionally, they had a habit of flushing paper towel and making a mess. This plugged the toilet, and the women's restroom has been locked. We need special permission to use it like gradeschool. That all being said, I've had issues with them for more petty reasons. They would demand I sweep some certian part of the plant at the end of the day instead of whetever I was, they have no actual authority. They rush me in the bathroom, knocking on the doors. They generally are difficult. I am autistic, so I don't deal with this well, and tend to yell. Every time, they make a point to all laugh in unison.

My boss's boss was talking about meetings before work today. The subject of pick speeds came up, as one of the foremen has to bring it up during the meeting again. I complained as the boss was out the door that they really should be talking to these foreign workers, who among the above, have low pick speeds, make excuses not to switch stations as we normally would, and so on. The boss's boss gets mad at me, tells me "Everyone deserves a chance to work here" and all but accuses me of racism. It's worth noting, my pick speeds are usually well above average. AITAH?
