Hmm I cannot find some community discussions about this on distrowatch but this looks surely awesome! I always wanted to go back to my childhoods computing interface -- oh god I need that

But what type of kernel is this the new talk about "custom unix-like core"? So this is not linux, it is also not unix? Seems like it would bring me back the same fun of exploring some unknown os, like when I was 7 years old.

I can confirm this. I'm working with a billionaire as ceo and they are assholes + have serious mental issues (especially when it comes to money e.g. loss aversion)

They are constantly aggressive towards their workers and cannot formulate at least one understandable sentence, they are also not hearing alarm bells from their workers

German comments on the (new) “Windows App” in the Microsoft Store: “Without MS corporate account, nothing works. The old Remote desktop App should still be available for private users.”

Microsoft Employee comments this: “The Windows App promises simplicity, but simplicity is not what it delivers. It demands exclusivity, it demands privilege, it demands a work or school account—leaving the average user behind a gate that refuses to open. The app whispers of innovation but roars with inaccessibility, presenting a vital resource that feels alive yet unattainable. It is a tool that stands as both necessary and neglectful, inviting yet unwelcoming, functional yet fundamentally flawed. For the individuals and small businesses who need it most, the app becomes a wall instead of a window. If only it would let us in.”

tbh - this is my 3rd post this day, the others got moderated…

Microsoft Employee comments their own new (useless) "Windows App" app with: "The Windows App promises simplicity, but simplicity is not what it delivers. It demands exclusivity, it demands privilege, it demands a work or school account—leaving the average user behind a gate that refuses to open. The app whispers of innovation but roars with inaccessibility, presenting a vital resource that feels alive yet unattainable. For the individuals and small businesses who need it most, the app becomes a wall instead of a window. If only it would let us in."

    Hallo Community! ❤️

I‘m near the end of FF7 Rebirth and I already cry to know that it will end.

Which Game (FF Game) should I play next? I already played 16 and my very first FF Revenant Wings (I was 12 years old).

I currently have my eyes on FF X, but maybe others have different recommendations :)
