"Octopus's Garden" by The Beatles seems apropos.

The life aquatic studio sessions - Seu Jorges covering Bowie in Portuguese.

If you were a jellyfish, what songs would be on your fave playlist?

The water level music from every Mario game, as well as Donkey Kong Country's, along with Ween's album "The Mollusk."

Dick Dale era surf guitar (someone else mentioned this as well, adding the best artist name). Dick Dale also did a cover of Claude Debussy's "The Aquarium" which is the sound track for Space Mountain at Disneyland/World. So either or both, and there might be other covers of "The Aquarium" out there if the original isn't too slow.

Going more ocean-themed....

Aquabats or Tsunami Bomb for some early 2000s punk/ska that isn't ocean-themed but the bands are kinda.

Tide is High - Blondie

Scuba Diver - King Kong (it's a weird song, but hypnotic)

Where is My Mind - Pixies (about fish, but close enough)

Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin

Maybe more sailing themed, but that's close, right?

Brandy by Looking Glass

My Heart Will Go On - there's a Dragonforce metal cover of this if you've been traumatized by the pennywhistle.

Come Sail Away - Styx

Moog Cookbook do covers of alt rock songs on (surprise) moog synthesizers. Always felt they sound quite Jellyfishy.

I’m shocked nobody mentioned the OG Jellyfish Jam yet.

Ocean Man by Ween

I feel like a lot of Superorganism is jellyfish-y, but in a psychedelic way.

Sounds fun! 😁

A few suggestions:

B52s - Rock Lobster
Smoke City - Underwater Love
PJ Harvey - We Float
The Beatles - I'm Looking Through You
Sebastian (Little Mermaid) - Under the Sea

For whatever reason my first thoughts was Opiuo - Meraki

If I were a jellyfish I'd be bopping to this as I swam around the ocean xD

Plenty of old B-52's

How about the music from the Splatoon games? They're squids and octopi, but they sound suitably fishy.

Dire Dire Docks from Mario 64. If not the original, then this jazz cover by The Consouls - https://youtu.be/5Mhk9zxb1mw

I'd be flubbalin and wubbalin in the waves all day to this track.

Superfast Jellyfish - Gorillaz

What does a jellyfish-themed party entail? Nature documentaries? Jell-O?

Hasard - Ariane Moffat

Superfast Jellyfish by Gorillaz

Superorganism - The Prawn Song

Anything by dolphins into the future

Poets of the Fall - Fool's Paradise

Yo, check out Swimming Tapes. I think that's the vibe.

Shpongle - How the Jellyfish Jumped Up the Mountain https://youtu.be/8oL6u9eujSU

"." (jellyfish) by koronba.

Rewind by Hotel Eden

Windowsill by McBaise

Both albums have some great tracks that fit that vibe.

If you're feeling extra spicy maybe sprinkle in some .Temp by Graham Kartna
