Bigger acts are less likely to be on it but any smaller artists will likely be there.

It's a lot more indie, honestly

If you ever find that an artist on other platforms isn't on Bandcamp, you'll usually find them on Qobuz's Download Store since that's a common place that they also tend to publish.

It's a little less convenient than Bandcamp, and is often a little more randomly priced across artists and even individual songs from an artist, but if your goal is to compensate them and get a high quality audio download, it'll be another option.

They also have a streaming offering with way better payout rates for artists at what tends to be around $0.01873 per stream as of last year, in case you're not ready to ditch streaming, though I can't speak to how good it is as I haven't tried it myself.

There's software that let's you easily download your music/playlists to your hard drive. I forget what it's called tho

Not every Friday:

Bandcamp Fridays will continue in 2025 on the following dates:

• September 5th
• October 3rd
• December 5th

Is that still true? This announcement states:

Bandcamp Fridays will continue in 2025 on the following dates:

September 5th
October 3rd
December 5th

First Friday of the month, but not every month. They announce the next ones a few months in advance.

I always thought it was the first Friday of every month. I was wrong.

Just incase it's helpful to anyone this is also on qobuz for streaming .

Wait fr? Like Act 3 of their Mega Man story?

Nice. I love interactions like that. It shows that they really care.

What's the name of the band? Promotion is always a good way to support bands.

Hell yeah
