The original title is "Ottawa makes $6B investment in Canada's spy agency over next decade" and the entire article is about the spy agency and nothing else.

No money for healthcare or education

The government has budgeted $57.4 billion this year for health care.

What? Someone trying to slander Carney's government and lying to do so? On Lemmy? Colour me shocked!

Even if you accept the premise that they're throwing a lot of money at CSIS, they're the ones who counter foreign influence campaigns like Alberta Independence. Funding CSIS is directly responding to American interference threats. Which is inarguably good.
