I really hope that the RCMP follow through and a bunch of dirty politicians go to jail.

Historically speaking though, it won't happen.

Way too many people voted yes to the other 9 questions

The vote to remain is not the victory we think it is. This is an indication that Alberta will not change its voting habits and will continue to vote against self-interest if it means seeing less immigrants. We voted to remain... we also voted to be racist, and deprive people of services. We voted for things that are already law and arent up for discussion like voter ID during elections.

To me this is a UCP victory and indicates they will continue being elected. This is an indication that the culture war rhetoric will not be ramping down and that this province is all in.

I am so beyond disappointed with these election results. I really thought we would know better and Im so tired of waiting for Albertans to finally be informed and make informed decisions.

Im tired boss.

Charlie Angus is joined by Jenny Yeremiy for an urgent conversation about the growing global movement to undermine democratic institutions—and the Canadian connection unfolding in Alberta.

Charlie and Jenny examine the connections between far-right movements across borders, including the relationship with Germany’s AfD, the extremist ideology driving these movements, and the role of Kremlin-backed influence and U.S.-based disinformation in amplifying division and weakening democratic trust.

We also look at the Alberta referendum and why Canadians need to pay close attention to what is happening.
