    Canadian English is distinct:

    • Organization - us spelling
    • Tire - us spelling
    • Behaviour - British spelling
    • Ladybug - us term
    • Cheque - British spelling

    In otherwords its a nightmarish unholy mishmash just like our system of measurement.

    Formally I don't believe there is any discrepancy; we're metric.
