No, but I'm the one who answered.
And anyone genuinely dedicated to building a revolutionary movement wouldn't need to ask "WhY aReN't YoU dOiNg It"?

Mighty bold assumptions on your part.
I’m very prepared to do what needs to be done. I’ve organized as much as I can without leaving evidence.
And you’re not the person that was asked.
Because despite saying you're here for it, youre not here for it enough to be willing to take up arms to defend the person running the guillotine from the state violence capitalists will always use to defend capitalism.
I'm not really here for that either, but only because there aren't enough people who would join me to make it anything but a really complicated suicide method.
First you have to build the revolution. Then you'll have no choice but to fight the revolution. So you can vote for more of the same, or you can join an actual communist party and start helping to build the revolution. Hell, you can even do both. But one of those things is like praying for rain, and one is like picking up tools for the dirty, sweaty, unpleasant job of constricting an irrigation system.
Hell, used to be you actually had to scratch the Liberals. Now you can just question their narrative in any way that actually causes a little cognitive dissonance and watch the show
You're assuming that Democrats want to win, and I'm not convinced that they do.
BEIRUT (AP) — From Michigan to the Middle East, Arabs are celebrating Abdul El-Sayed’s election win and delighting in his introduction of Arabic terms like “habibi” and “inshallah” to the American political lexicon.
After being the target of Islamophobic rhetoric on the campaign trail, the rising political star who will be the first Muslim American U.S. senator has mocked his critics on the right while championing the Palestinian cause and leaning into his faith and Egyptian heritage.
I’m complaining because voting is important.
The US and Great Britain genocided entire continents, using bourgeios democracy, IE the parliamentary / representative voting system you hold so dear. Its proven to be the safest shell for rule by a capitalist minority, with the added benefit of making people think they actually live in a functioning democracy, rather than a completely rigged system.
In the past 30 years or so, the PRC lifted more people out of poverty, than any other country in human history. This is probably the most significant acheivement in modern times, carried out by committed communists carrying out massive, nationwide poverty alleviation campaigns.
The "Self Hating Jew" trope was designed by zionists to attack the jewish people that reject their naziism in Israel.
In your case, probably for the best.
You know who isn’t screwed, though? Trump himself. He’s already made his bag.
Predictably, many of the president’s victims count themselves among his biggest fans.
-- and they still are somehow 🤷♂️
No it won't it will most likely be some decades until the material conditions arrive. But it will happen eventually as conditions continue to worsen and voting continues to do nothing. In the meantime you can organise and go on strike just like many parts of Europe at the moment.
66% of American Jews HATE JEWS!
-LITERALLY Chuck Schumer!
I’d rather see superdistricts and proportional representation
How is Hakeem Jeffries doing
As plays out on various Lemmy instances, one side is celebrated and wins by breaking the rules, while loudly crying about and denouncing any incursion, accidental or intentional, by the other side.
Being a part of the establishment, I don't think this would serve Democrats well, but as they should have been doing all along, they should do everything legally within their power to exercise their own power to effectively serve their constituents.
I remember Democratic leadership saying they would do nothing but let the constituents see how much worse it could get. They played that strategy to the hilt and won big. They know they don't have to do anything for the citizens except be "not Republican."
I would like to see laws that force districts to be drawn in a fair way so that everyone gets fair representation. There has been a lot of research into how to make a fair map so it should be doable. This is not only the right thing to do but it is also the most stable scheme. If you try to push your advantage too far with gerrymandering, you have a chance to win more districts than you really deserve, but the margins are so close that when there is a swing against your party, you get destroyed. This is part of why the republicans do so exceptionally poorly this time.
Yes.
Yes.
Yea liberals tend to bleed like fascist all the time
Yep. Get rid of the progressive cosplay and we have a fascist. Can't argue with that.
Liberals can't read or do analysis. Tracks from a libs like yourself who love cosplaying as progressives, get rid of the cosplay and we have a fascist.
Lol the 'revolutionaries' are just a bunch of cosplayers. That tracks with this thread.
Calls for Federal Wealth Tax.. Okay but who is calling for it? Because in a bourgeois democracy, politics are only there to serve capital, NOT the workers.
I wonder if they know why pol pot was put in the first place or which country helped get them into power 🤔
