It would take nuclear war to require the rich to hide in bunkers. Climate change alone will not make the planet uninhabitable for humans. Of course, climate change is not the only factor contributing to the impending global ecological collapse, but even in a worst case collapse scenario, humans will survive. Life will be extremely unpleasant for most of us, but the billionaires would be just fine. That is, if we allow them to continue existing after their system of capitalism destroys everything. Hopefully it doesn’t take total collapse for us to gain class consciousness and achieve socialism though.

I always wondered why they call it contactless technology… and then advise people to tap.

For the record, out of the literally thousands of Apple Pay uses I’ve had it’s only failed the one time I took my restaurant bill just past my immediately available funds and then a couple of times when those mobile payment terminals were struggling for a connection.

I appreciate it, I've put wayyy too much effort into this, so it's nice to hear. I have drank more holy water than most people, I'd say, somewhere between several dozen and a hundred liters. I must be very pure at this point, I'd think, so I'm happy with a Holy tag.

606024=86400*3=259.2 mtons of hydrogen and meh im too nonsober to type that into a calculator twice so 5ish mtons of hehe? TBH I hedged my bets in the prefix to tons above, but this is an order of magnitude more than I figured. And with that ratio I'm sure hydrogen and helium are 99.999999% of that mass too.

The universe is an engine that converts hydrogen to helium, and we are the pollutants caused by the imperfections of the engine. All hail nuclear fusion, for it is light. Let it burn bright, for the ratio of fuel to exhaust is already 3:1, and one cannot bring back the purity of hydrogen once it is spent. Live for the dying of the light!

neil degrasse tyson had a fun take on this. There are more molecules of water in a single cup of water, than there are cups of water in all of earth's water. So without a doubt water molecules used by any number of historical figures have almost certainly also been used by you. Genghas khan, Caesar, Einstein, etc.

I'm not clear on how long ago the person must have lived for the chances to be near certain or not.

"You are the cosmos made conscious" - Brian Cox

"...you're not something that's a result of the big bang. You're not something that is a sort of puppet on the end of the process. You are still the process. You are the big bang, the original force of the universe, coming on as whoever you are." - Alan Watts

"Allow yourself to fantasy that you're 13.8 million years old And you're part of this incredible ocean of happening Instead of just this one individual Just let yourself experience that for a second The glorious knowledge that you are a never-ending, ever-changing flow of matter that's temporarily manifested with the ability to express love" - Dunkin Trussel

My dog does not chew her food, so how could she taste it? She threw up once a little while after eating and it came out as if it was direct from the bag (but wetter). This was dry dog food. Yes, she ate it again before I could get a dust pan to scoop it up.

Trained her with little ice cubes. She thought they were treats.

It's unusual that you think that. Sycophants serve their masters until they die. When the Titanic sank, thousands of crew went down with the ship, even though it was arrogance and greed of the elite that sank it in the first place. American soldiers and their victims die all the time like pawns on a chess board so that the ruling class get whatever it is they want. Workers die in workplace accidents daily, justifying the danger they put themselves in when it's really just to create more wealth for a greed driven economy.
