I ordered the GameCube colorway as soon as pre-orders opened.

When did you order, and what color?
Still waiting for any movement on mine, but ordered Sep 30.
1.0 is out! Enjoy!
@Auster - fair, it was a bit too long.
Dunno how's the code quality or how well it runs, but on the presentation of the project, either I'm very tired, or I've seen scam bots meander less.
That makes sense. "MelonDualDS" is like saying "Melon Dual Dual Screen"!
WatermelonDS, to save you the click
I'm not an expert on Android stuff, but you can install it with Komi Store and it works fine on my side.
Obtainium may be another alternative.
I've seen it via RetroArch for Android on an AYN Thor, and I do like it. But it (and all the other ones I've tried) lack something. I wish I had the technical know-how to describe what I feel it's missing, but it seems off to me. It's still very good, though!
Have you seen the AI-free DMG shader in RetroArch? It's in shaders_slang/handheld/gameboy.slangp.
RetroArch already has excellent AI-free shaders for DMG-style, MGB-style, Gameboy Light-style looks for black and white, dot matrix games, and a GBC-style look for an excellent, all around LCD shader, along with countless excellent CRT shaders and presets.
You can find them in the shaders_slang/handheld folder.
DMG: gameboy.slangp
MGB: gameboy-pocket.slangp
Gameboy Light: gameboy-light.slangp
GBC/general LCD shader: authentic_gbc.slangp
He doesn't care, he's only calling it AI slop so people will think he's cool.
It isn't necessarily. The article title says the developer used AI for automation. Nothing is mentioned in the article. Linus accepts AI automation for Linux and I wouldn't call Linux slop.
I haven't used AI for my own stuff but there's a huge difference between auto complete and vibe coding.
I don't love AI, but I'd hoped there was enough meat on the bone here to make for an interesting discussion. Personally, as much as I appreciate all the work that devs put into creating realistic GB shaders, none of them really capture the look of the genuine article. In spite of how it was created, at least we know such realism is feasible now, and hopefully a better dev will carry the effort forward.
AI slop.
I know this is an old post but camera support is awesome. Could you imagine emulating psvr?
On Linux, I use Eden is it mostly works. Some games have a few bugs, but it is mostly fine. On my Android phone, the game runs but my Mediatek chip's Mali GPU doesn't have any supported drivers for Eden so I just see a black screen. I can even click on some of the buttons and get some sound, but no visual graphics at all. I believe Qualcomm chips will work much better for this. My Mediatek phone still runs everything up to 3DS fine though.
It’s been a little rough with XC3. Rough but playable. Just need to save frequently lol
Eden is the way to go. I play Tomodachi Life on it which is pretty recent.
Eden emulator has been working well with every game I have thrown at it. The newest release I have tried is Pokémon Legends Z-A.
I've been using Ryujinx Canary for Tomodachi Life, which was the only one I found that has good compatibility with the more recent Switch 1 games.
Fuck ARM.
Yeah, no thanks.
This, in my humble opinion, is the future. Handheld (and also ordinary) gaming will migrate to ARM soon.
Gonna be giving this a try soon
Is Piefed listening to me?????
