This is referencing the Artemis II mission. It got a lot of really stunning pictures of the moon.

I don't know if NASA officially did it themselves, but a lot of people boosted the color of the pictures to highlight the various mineral compositions of the moon's surface.

    You post a generated pro-ai image, with zero explanation*, in a vocally anti-ai community. What did you think would happen?

    I think for a lot of people, myself included, water in the nasal cavity feels terrible no matter what. I feel it's less about preventing water from entering your throat and more about keeping water out of your nose entirely.

    Translation from my phone:

    Don't eat the bread, Flaco.

    It's not for you.

    Psst, Flaco!

    Do you want some bread?

    Go on!

    There's no way we're going to let it go to waste.
    There's no way it's going to waste.

    Flaco means skinny or thin.

    I would assume based on the capitalization that Flaco is the dog's name and they're not just saying "don't eat this you skinny dog".

    EDIT: Better translation of last line.

    Try loading the same post on the website for your instance. If the comments appear there, then it's a problem with the app. If the comments are gone on the website, then it's an instance problem.

    My first guess at something to check would be blocked instances. If you or your home instance have blocked other instances, then (from what I understand), you won't see any comments or posts from people of those instances, even on a post you can see.

     Since 2008, the very slender chasm has been bolted shut with a dinner-plate-sized steel cover that measures only about 9 inches across. But the hole it hides plunges down for more than 40,000 feet into the earth and took more than 20 years to dig. That’s deeper than the altitude at which most commercial airlines fly and deeper by about 20,000 feet than any other hole anywhere else on Earth.

    I see this in both posts and comments. Unless a new line is inserted between each image link, then the formatting of each image gets worse and worse. I've had this issue for ages, but never had a bad enough post before to get this bothered by it.

    The post is formatted something like this:

    !{imgURL1} !{imgURL2} !{imgURL3} !{imgURL4}

    But would need to be formatted like this to view properly:

    !{imgURL1}

    !{imgURL2}

    !{imgURL3}

    !{imgURL4}

    I only did materials with no textures or UV mapping. Making a fully photo realistic model would be really cool, but would be a massive amount of work.

    The files Valve released are just .stp files. They are intended for CAD software like Fusion or AutoCad. The models have only one basic material over every part.

    After I converted them to OBJ files and loaded them into Blender, I then created several materials based on my own Frame for comparison. It was a bit of a pain to apply all of the materials (most parts are one solid mesh), but I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

    EDIT: seems to be mainly an instance issue instead of an app issue. Viewing the linked comment on another instance will play the gif properly

    I've only noticed this in comments so far. Certain WEBP videos show me a play button, but will never play when I tap on them. I'm assuming this is probably an app issue, but could maybe still be an instance issue.

    Here is one comment that has this issue: https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/comment/21301284

    I just recently lost the close connection I had with my best friend. They were the whole reason I made this community in the first place. We weren't a couple, but the loss still hurts incredibly so.

    It's safe to say that I won't be posting her for a long while. A big chunk of my heart is gone.

    Others are still welcome to post pics of their own here. I will keep moderating the community if the need arises, but won't be posting myself.

    I really appreciate all the goobery love everyone shared here. This has been my favorite community I've been a part of here on Lemmy.

    Take care you lovely Goobers

    Hello!

    Figured I would bring this question by you all here since stuff like this would be right up your alley. I'm completely out of my league when it comes to things like these lol.

    My best friend recently realized how some of her feelings are actually gender dysphoria. She's beginning to figure out herself and all these odd feelings she's having. She doesn't care what labels people use, but is leaning towards non-binary as what she feels she is.

    Essentially, she hates the way her chest feels sometimes and expressed interest in getting a binder. What are some good recommended brands for chest binders?

    Also, I don't really have any idea of what features or whatnots to look out for when it comes to binders, so any guidance or tips would be much appreciated.
