Sadly the price of beans and tofu is also rising, unless you buy in bulk.
If you do it, you can say you're still 5/7 days superior, and that's a perfect score
Ohhh, it's like they got the first half of a riemann sum type explanation for curve integration, and started daydreaming halfway through
Remember, if you got fired, you might have fucked up or failed (might, still not guaranteed). If you got laid off, then your boss' boss or C Suite fucked up. They made bad decisions and the business revenue didn't show up as they predicted, and you're just paying the price instead of them. So try not to sweat it, and recognize that unlike the 70s, a lot of companies now plan to grow aggressively and layoff at the first sign of danger.
Hopefully you got a severance large enough to give you a bit of breathing room while you look for another job without too much stress
The sign of a well thought out law, for sure, lol.
So videolan is pulling in either 50 million a year globally or 7 million in just france? That's some significant numbers. And they're also pushing at least 20 million GB of data in France? That must mean the law counts me using vlc to connect to e.g. a publicly available rtsp stream or something as vlc generating that content? $55/Tb is a pretty massive tax. This article has left me more confused than I thought possible
I wonder if it's the standard "if someone has to actually think about the diet, they tend to have a more balanced calorie consumption" thing, where any restrictive diet requires additinal thought. Or were the vegan fed cats being raised by vegan owners? Cause then it could just be that they care more about their pets health since animal wellbeing is part of veganism.
I have doubts that the meatlessness of the food is the major driving factor (statistically insignificant) weight difference
I'm not advocating for violence, but OP sure is, look at their post history. I want to know what violence they intend to enact change through.
You're asking if it's better to do nothing (give up on incremental liberalization, aka don't vote dem, and also don't burn down a warehouse right now) and instead do what, sit online and plan, maybe in 5 years burn down a warehouse together? I been on lemmy for like 3 years now with this constant chatter. What have yall done after three years of planning and gathering together? Give me examples. I'm open to it.
But it feeeeels like a backup, and isn't that what really matters? In my setup I have 3 drives (2x 8Tb, 1x 14 Tb) and I finally have the opportunity to do some consolidation and not just have 3 single drives plugged into a server. Zfs, raid , a dedicated backup drive, but I'm still figuring out what the layout should be.
Great, dont wait, pu in a vote to minimize harm, then get out there and burn down your local amazon warehouse. I know you have one. Or is all you do complain online in the most leftist friendly space you can find. Get yourself banned from Facebook for livestreaming a a riot. But if we haven't seen you commit a felony before Nov, I think we all know what you actually are.
What is this, some kind of subnautica crossover?
But why do we need to be able to push 7600 commits per second to a single repo? Is this those monorepo people also wanting to have 100,000 agents writing to their one repo?
Uh oh. I've never noticed being targeted by a scam
For data transfer to the display pixels, almost definitely every display uses some sort of multiplexing, but most display boards include a driver chip that does the multiplexing for you. There are a couple of persistent display techs (only send data when you want to change what is displayed) like e-ink, but there's also a LCD version that I think Sharp just released, that doesn't have e ink's slow update rate or persistence tendencies. Both are much more expensive than your $free.99 display.
Very cool that you got it working! I also found a disposed vape and ripped out the charging board with a display like that to monitor/charge some spare 18650 batteries I harvested. I hate that the standard vape is now disposable, Lotta good stuff in there!
Those pancakes needed to be flipped sooner
I thought those pogo pins were just a usb interface
So another company is getting in on "back of phone detachable ereader" like xteink. I'm a big fan of my X3, but the act of having it attached to my phone is not great. Can't use the included folio case and have it attach to the phone. Once you do attach it, both sides of the brick have a delicate screen, so extra odds of smashy smashy. It's not great to use while attached to the phone, I just store it there and then remove it from the phone when I want to read. It would be more interesting to either go for extreme thinness, maybe only enough batter in the eink reader to last an hour, but it charges off the phone. Or just let the magnets attach it with the screen against the phone. Book doesn't seem like they're really doing anything interesting here, vs what xteink already does for less
It's definitely surprising how many coffee shops that sell fancy coffee (fancy as in single estate beans in pour overs) will still absolutely destroy a green tea by pouring boiling water from the drip machine and then overstepping it.
There's already a nytimes piece, so, absolutely they are
It's a very nice still. Hopefully the whole movie is pretty like this.
