Oh god why would you use face authentication for anything. It's not even faster than a password really and it's just more data points of biometric scan data that are probably now being sold somewhere. Besides the fact that it's worse than front cameras or mirrors.

Number 3 is perfectly reasonable and healthy. If it's not interfering with their education or progress, time off is a good thing now and then. And especially in a household where both parents work full-time that time together was likely way more valuable for the kids development than whatever he would've gotten from one day of classes.

This post has a content warning as well but my comment has some pretty sexual content so I'm spoilering it.

    descriptions of solo sexual activity

So I have a similar kind of envy for the type of pleasure it seems women get out of sex. The thing that has recently been working for me has been nipple play/stimulation. My nipples were never super sensitive, but I started doing suctioning on them just with some homemade 10cc syringes with the ends cut off. This causes the nipples to get very puffy and engorged and much more similar to the size and presumably the sensitivity of female nipples. I've found that after doing this, with just gentle stimulation I can get waves of pleasure radiating through my body with the lightest touch. Lightly brushing/circling the nipples with my fingertips has even brought me remarkably close to orgasm. I think I could actually orgasm from it with enough patience and the right mindset, but I usually end up getting too worked up and going back to the usual method, but combined with one hand still playing with my nipples the orgasm is incredibly intense and much more drawn out, very similar to what it seems women experience. Sometimes I even visualize and imagine as my fingertips are circling the way women play with their clits. It's only been a few weeks but holy fuck the orgasms are unbelievable, and it makes me feel incredibly sexy when my nipples are all puffy and sensitive. Using the suction occasionally (once or twice a week) has also made them much more sensitive just in general though as well, which is pretty great. I haven't experimented with any of this with any partners yet, it's been a solo journey so far, but I thought I'd share because it's honestly been mindblowing.

Edit* I don't know why but the spoiler tag isn't working unless I do it like this and I'm too tired to figure it out right now

Only trans women(and men and non binary individuals but they aren't 'women') have a prostate (P-spot). So your headline kinda shows you didn't read the article, or, more likely since I recognize this account and your posting pattern, you're just a bot.

I mean if you just go to sleep before it kicks in that's pretty much backing out. You might have some weird dreams or a trippy walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. But if you really regret it and want to just skip the fun, just go lay down in the dark and close your eyes. Maybe put some quiet chill music on if that helps you sleep.

The only reason to specifically choose a ps5 if you already have a PC or are going to get one anyway, is for the exclusive games. If a game is on PC and PS5 what possible reason would there be to choose to play it on a device that's more restricted, more locked down, not upgradable, and is collecting all your data and constantly trying to lock you into a subscription and sell you things? That's why exclusives are relevant. Nobody wants to use the PS5. They do it because in some situations it's the only choice. But with the PS5 that justification never even really materialized.

Sorry if this is answered somewhere else but im super curious if this is just a fun Easter egg or what. In the mailbox, if you tap on the little envelope icon, it flips around, and then flips back to an envelope when you tap it again. The first 3 or 4 times I did it it was an empty circle in place of the icon, but then it started showing another icon of a comet or some sort of smaller sphere surrounded by flame or lens flare. It switches back as soon as I tap it or elsewhere on the screen, so I feel like it's not changing any kind of functionality? Very curious if this has a meaning or if it's just cool. I've included a picture.

This isn't a major issue, I came here to report the issue with the post list refreshing and adding posts to the top/middle of the feed but saw someone had already reported it. Another issue I've found though that I don't think is intended behaviour is that if you navigate to a new community from the main feed, and open an image and then swipe to dismiss it, you return to the main feed rather than to the community you were just browsing. This also happens when opening images on user pages or embedded images in comment threads. This doesn't occur when hitting the back button, that simply returns you to wherever you were when you opened the image, it only occurs with swipe.

Love this app and all the work you do, thank you for that!

    Banned by automod (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Hi, I recently realized I've been banned from about 10 communities, the only reason given in the modlog being 'automod', as of 2 months ago. As far as I can tell I didn't do anything to deserve these bans. I've never even commented in several of these communities and none of my comments have ever violated any rules as far as I'm aware. Can someone shed some light on this?

Why are my comments doing this? I haven't found anything in the settings that can change it or explain it and it just started happening a couple weeks ago. It also doesn't happen to all comments, some posts it won't happen at all, others will be entirely highlighted, and some will be mixed, with no apparent reason for which ones are affected that I can see. It happens even after changing the theme colors and the color doesn't match any of the colors I have set in the settings. It's not a huge deal but I'd really rather have just a black background for all comments.
