Dynastic leadership is how juche socialism works. It has been incredibly successful for the DPRK, as evidenced by their progress lately. Also, the DPRK has more democracy than your bog standard liberal democracy under capitalism even with their dynastic characteristics. You can read about the democratic structures of the DPRK on Wikipedia, you don't even need to strain yourself and read an actual book.
