I picked up a couple tinywhoop quadrocopters a couple years ago and one of the things that surprised me was how fast things happen in the air. You need a very quick response time to actively fly at those scales and it doesn't surprise me at all that birds would have adapted to be faster decision makers.

I don't know how popular this is but I would love them to relax the rules on home distillation. There are public safety issues with home distillation but there are lots of things you can do at home that are dangerous and there's way more safety info and better tools available these days. I just wanna make my own booze!

I'm glad to see this. So many people don't understand how ridiculous it is that we aren't taxing the billionaires more. Their rate of wealth accumulation is INCREASING and fucking fast too. Elon missed his latest chance to hit trillionare status but it's still almost inevitable. The runaway wealth accumulation by this relatively tiny handful of people is actively destroying any semblance of democracy in our country and restoring tax levels to the same as even 50 years ago would go a long way towards fixing the issue.

There was an announcement yesterday or the day before that if you go to the store page for the frame and you are signed in and had a reservation it'll show an estimate of how long you might have to wait now.

Based on what you said, you can get a slightly cheaper pre built that's more powerful. It'll run the newer games better. The cube will struggle even on 1080 on a lot of the new AAA games. The cube premium is mostly to do with the form factor and console like features such as the CEC control for your media center. If you don't care about that or the form factor get a cheaper pre built probably and install steamos or one of the forks.

Just started our kombucha journey this year and our cherry tree was super productive so we blended some and added it to the second ferment. Turned out super good! It's good to be here, already seeing some recipes we're excited to try. Any good tea recommendations? We'd love any decaf/no-caf tea recommendations people have.

All our servers and company laptops went down at pretty much the same time. Laptops have been bootlooping to blue screen of death. It's all very exciting, personally, as someone not responsible for fixing it.

Apparently caused by a bad CrowdStrike update.
