There are a lot of countries that have extradition policies that don't follow them for people they consider citizens.

Take this example with Greece: https://www.ctpublic.org/news/2026-09-30/kosta-diamantis-cts-disgraced-former-deputy-budget-director-sentenced.

Greece has extradition treaties with the US but won't extradite the scumbag because he is a citizen.

This happens with a lot of people who flee to their home country.

I haven't drank enough baiju to form an opinion, but I always thought it was more of a class of liquor then anything specific (think whiskey, as opposed to jack Daniels). I had one person tell me it was the moonshine of China. And then I go to a liquor store and see some highly prized bottle of it for 3 or 4 hundred usd or more.

My wife loves the riff I make which I call a benzoni (lol)... Replace the gin with bourbon, like the negroni/boulevardier riff. It's tasty but it definitely doesn't need any sugar syrup, as bourbon can be quite sweet on its own.

Oh and I only use green grapes. I think the original called for red? Green tend to have a nice tartness that I love.

This is such a great drink. Tho I usually don't add sugar syrup to them when I make them, but I also usually prefer cocktails on the more bitter side.

Side note: prepare to have to deep clean your Hawthorne strainer....

I've done it with over a dozen computers by different manufacturers: primarily laptops: Lenovo, HP, toshiba, and I have yet to run into any issue.

Windows assumes there is only ever going to be one efi, so it totally ignores the second partition. Linux has you mount the efi partition so you can choose it over the windows one.

What problems have you had with it? There is lots of advice out there on the Internet saying this is the best setup, not just me.

If using efi (instead of bios), set up a second efi boot partition. Use one efi for windows and the second for Linux. It's "non standard" but the efi spec does not explicitly forbid you having multiple partitions, and it will keep windows from disabling anything on the Linux boot partition.

Anyone who has grown tomatoes before really appreciates the wasps. The hornworm caterpillar can devastate your tomatoes crop. It's probably a terrible way to go for the caterpillar, but they are real pests.

30 years ago this movie was released. It's corny at times and not very accurate, but it's pretty nostalgic for me. I saw it when it the day it was released in 95.

I decided to fire up the ole blue ray player and rewatch it tonight. I realized I had missed something when I first saw it: in one of the opening scenes, Dade, our antihero star, is "taking over a TV station" so he can watch the outer limits. Currently being broadcast is a very racist TV show about how white people are superior are better then black people and other minorities. The tape is ejected and we see the name of the videos "America first".

It made me laugh out loud how 30 years later we are still experiencing the same rhetoric, and the same racism, using the same titles.
