Depends on the specs of the minicomputer you get and what you want to do with it. It really doesn't take much processing power to run just streams. As long as the distro runs smoothly on the machine it will work just fine.

I ended up getting a mini computer with Linux and getting a Rii keyboard remote. Then I can browse to any streaming service with a browser or kodi.

Politically and strategically the smart thing to do is to continuously pass bills for items that the populace wants. The orange moron will have to veto them all. Then push the news/social media hard to show how he is blocking what people want.

They should pass a bill to raise the the minimum wage to $20/hour for starters. He'll veto it and look like a shithead.

It's windows 11 - it overwrites settings and installs whatever the fuck it wants. It's not as bad where you are because of the EU laws. I then spend some time removing all the shit etc it forced onto the machine this time.

    It's a never ending game of whack-a-mole.

It was in college and I sat down next to her in the library. I did my best to ask her out but she shot me down.

2 years later we were in the same genetics class and I sat down next to her the first day. We ended up being assigned as lab partners much to her dismay. She immediately requested a new partner. Professor told her to "Either work with him or take an F."

4 weeks later we were counting fruit flies and she invited back to her place for dinner. After dinner she pounced on me (she has a different version of the story).

Couple weeks later the genetics professor caught us in the stairwell kissing before class and about died laughing.

We got married a year later after she graduated. Been married for 25 years now.

Acceptable excuse. I am all in with Linux except that one program that uses .net and I can not get wine to work.

So the laptop with win11 comes out every month or so. After the 3-4 hours of updates and 2-3 reboots, it's up and running for the 30minute task I have.

We got a 3' toy grabber for my younger son when he was like 5 years old.

He is 16 now and we use it to reach all sorts of things behind the dryer, under furniture, etc. It's a plastic toy yet it has lasted for years and works surprisingly well.

For silage corn the entire plant is harvested, chopped up, and packed tightly in a pile and covered with plastic or very large plastic bag. This creates an anaerobic conditions and yeasts/bacteria convert the sugars to alcohol, then acids. This acid preserves the feed for cattle for up to 2 years.

Silage corn is the most common base feed for all dairies and feedlots.

This isn't even the tallest variety out there. There are others that are 3' (1m) taller.

The machine with the spout is a chopper. They are a million dollar gigantic woodchipper. These things are fucking terrifying and you should absolutely stay out the field when they are running. Every so often a deer jumps into them.....shudder.... nightmare fuel.

The entire top of the damn plant turns bright red.

As sugars build up in the top of the plant with no place to be transported to, the upper leaves start to turn bright red and die back.

You may get a bar bell ear or there may be no ear on the plant. In of field of millions of plants a bright red top narrows the search down.

This here is trichoderma ear rot in an organic field. This 100 day variety was chewed on by an earworm. The damaged kernals allowed trichderma to enter and infect the ear. This ear rot produces many toxins and is a big no for consumption.

The twist - Trichoderma is usually a beneficial organism in the soil. It feeds on other pathogenic fungus/bacteria and is applied extensively for biological control.

Although normally a secondary pathogen, it has mutated to become a primary pathogen in both Italy and Germany in recent years.

This here is a genetically susceptible 113 day variety to fusarium kernal rot. This is a nasty little fungus that produces all sorts of mycotoxins that can give any mammal that consumes it a belly ache or even death. It's easily identifiable by the white streaks in causes in the kernals.
