In many cases the money being spent isn't to influence the outcome, that has already been decided by gerrymandering, and all the other fuckery that goes on. The money is spent to influence the candidate and their actions after winning...

Having worked at many companies in many different industries over the past few decades, it has been my experience that almost no one knows anything from the C-level to the entry level. This includes myself. We are not important cogs in the machine. The vast majority of any jobs in any business could be entirely removed and everything would continue moving forward without them. So the reason corporate America isn't seeing any productivity gains is because you do not get a productivty increase by using AI to automate doing nothing. You've already reached maximum productivty by being useless and providing no value.

With the Iraq war they had to come up with all these bullshit excuses and spend a ton of time and effort pushing the propaganda to the public. In a strange way it's actually better this time that they just said yeah, this war is about oil, look how much money we are making because fuck you, that's why.

There was a post recently in the Denver subreddit that posted an article about how all the "Devils are in Denver" from some crazy right wing site or whatever.

So I posted, "Blue cities have no clue what is headed their way"

Then a mod bans from me from the subreddit and didn't explain why my post was bad. I think it's pretty obvious given the urban, rural divide that blue cities are dealing with all kinds of stuff.

So I follow up to the mods, "Hey what is the ban about, I didn't break any rules?"

They didn't reply but made it where I can't speak to them for a month.

LOL, I also said something like it makes sense why everyone is leaving centralized sites like reddit.
