He doesn't want to understand it. He wants to break through it and some sleazy and/or desperate engineers are telling him everything he wants to hear. They understand that it's impossible but they also understand that if they don't cater to his fragile ego they'll be looking for a new job and no job will ever pay more.

Elon legitimately believes that nothing is impossible because his entire life he's been able to pay other people to fix his problems for him and he can't handle the idea that he's not the most special important smartest boy.

I hate to say it but it's a lot more likely than the other options. The question isn't who will get a pardon, it's who won't. Preemptive pardons aren't law, but they almost might as well be. I wouldn't test that with this Supreme Court. So the question remains who won't get preemptive presidential pardon and will be prosecuted, and who will and can walk away from all this. It's in Trump's inner circle's interest to please him even more because if they don't get that pardon he may leave them off his list.

Don't put words in another person's mouth. You know what they meant. Don't play dumb to enrage the comment section.

Edit: Okay wrote without reading the whole comment. They're being a dick too.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Texas might be blue but it's still Texas. In two years when everyone has forgotten about all of this Texas will be pure Red again. There are A LOT of people in Texas who are still super MAGA and they have A LOT of influence. Also I expect the Democrats to say they're powerless because Trump is the president.

The lifetime of the product. I bought an ergonomic chair back in 2016 and it's as good today as it was then. Any gaming chair I've bought never lasts more that 3 years. Spend €600 once or spend €150 every three years. In two more years my chair will be the same cost as having gaming chairs and in three it's cheaper. Much larger upfront cost though.
