EXA_PICO universe has a fun mix of hymnal chorus and electronica due to the music being diegetic. Priestess cyborg girls sing to do magic so the spells have crazy names that look like programming files.

EXEC_COSMOFLIPS/.

All sung in the crazy made up magic/programming language of the universe complete with its own grammatical syntax and written characters.

Thank you for the work you've done so far. The work you did may not have had a noticable effect while you were more active, but that work you put in helped get us in a more progressive space today.

Centrist Dems are losing a lot of power and hopefully the party continues moving in a more progressive direction. The people I talk to who would not consider themselves radically progressive are expressing some very progressive ideas, like getting rid of Chuck Schumer or expanding the Senate/Supreme Court. These are ideas that a decade ago would be considered fringe and radical, but are now considered popular and average for the Dem voter base.

I am going to continue being politically active and, not to be too confrontational, I hope that in a decade, I do not end up as pessimistic and sapped of hope as you are currently.

Pessimism of the mind. Optimism of the spirit. You are correct that there are a lot of ways things can go wrong, but that just means we need to put in the work to overcome those obstacles. Put that pessimism to work by using it to predict and surmout roadblocks. If you feel phone calls arent enough, go door knock. If you feels door knocking isn't enough, start organizing. If you feel organizing isn't enough, run for office. Get more and more involved in politics until you understand in your soul that a better future is possible, if only we all work together to make it happen.

The ultra wealthy managed to spread a lot of doubt about a wealth tax in California. If targeting one corpo works better, that might be the play moving forward. Divide and conquer while hoping the ultra rich do not exhibit class solidarity.

You are totally correct that there is a danger that Bernie's vacant seat gets occupied by some kinda corpo ghoul. But there is also a possibility that AOC, as the head of the new Progressive Wing, helps elect new Progressive candidates, possibly by ousting incumbent corpo ghouls. As seen in the recent House and Senate wins, it's totally possible, we just have to help make it happen.

Bernie running around and campaigning with AOC is him setting up his replacement for the leader of the Progressive wing. Sure technically they are in different parts of Congress, but that distinction is meangingless to the average person. Much like how Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are the leaders of the Centrist wing, though Chuck is a lot less helpful to his protégé. Schumer and Hakeem got a Star Wars Sith kind of relationship; I fully expect Jeffries to one day wax poetically about the irony of Darth Schumer the Wise.

When Hakeem Jeffries went on Morning Joe and said, "The American people don't want us to get even" right after the Dems won big in the House and Senate, that screams to me that Dem leadership is trying to stamp down on the energy of the voter base by making excuses as to why they won't be doing anything.

It's the classic Centrist juggling technique. "We can't prosecute because we're focused on affordability. We can't improve the economy because of the Iran war. We can't stop the Iran war because the Republicans are too good at crime."

Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries and the rest of the Centrist Dems have not been exerting the power they have, small as it is. By claiming that these are vague statements are not indicative of Dem inaction, you are running cover for the Centrist Dems who want to do nothing.

Claiming Obama is not a politician is like claiming Gordan Ramsey isn't a chef. Obama still wields a lot of political influence because he's basically Liberal Jesus. He can turn out numbers, fundraise, and influence political policy. His opinions are seen as the "correct direction for the Democratic party" and his approval is a jet engine to wider popularity.

The people want MAGA to be held accountable. They can see clear distinctions between themselves and the fascist Republicans. We want fuckers in jail at the very least. The kind of message Obama and other Centrist Dems like Hakeem Jeffries are sending is one of unifying and accepting the crazies back into polite society.
