Use the aggressively melting cheeseproduct. Let the heresy flow through you.
I am thinking of something like Hong Kong, a somewhat model society existing within the setting of a much larger geopolitical detente. Or maybe imagine a Hawaii that fended off Dole and built their own wealthy remote city state, too far away and powerful to easily push around.
It’s more about what the consequences could be in international relations should the geopolitical status quo change, but currently this little country can do many things that anger other countries that are powerless to stop it. Because the consequences would be worse, like igniting a world war.
I felt that way too until I took a cinema class for easy gen ed credits.
Some Like It Hot is surprisingly, genuinely funny after all this time. High Noon is probably timeless.
But ya many “classics” are garbage. We don’t need to slog through Lawrence of Arabia ever again.
I just replayed ME2 and this really hits home.
The ME setting is cool but has some elements I’ve outgrown, like sexy blue space vixens (both Asari and EDI)
Here’s to hoping they get the band back together and write some new material.
Can you post another video of driving through the corkscrew road? Video ends just as it appears in the distance.
Also, what’s up with all the monoliths beside the road?
It’s still for sale after all this time https://www.threadless.com/shop/@tomburns/design/the-communist-party
All the elvish in the appendices couldn’t save Gary the Eagle.
I don’t know who it is or from what story, but that would be aliased as Dristo Durden in my mind.
Lower right corner, if I remember is from the middle of the augment arc in Enterprise S4. I think the baddies make him infect his colleague with a dozen super viruses and watch him die. Then archer gets shot out into space with no suit. Solid episode 👌
Nobody captures a wall in its decaying magnificence like he does. He makes the ugly beautiful.
I had to work with embedded chromium once. It’s how I became a watcher on bug #126, which took 9 years to resolve. 9 years for “what happens when I click a link in embedded chromium” 🍿🤓
Doesn’t Gormenghast have that dinner scene that’s a massive stream of consciousness curveball?
Edit:
