Done with a nib pen, India ink and sloppy watercolour.

The engineers do the math and design the height of the ramp and rolling resistance provided by the gravel to stop the truck before it gets to the top.

Then how do you explain the Sasquatch Jubilee?

  • This comic is amazing, thank you so much for referencing Sasquatch and beef jerky all in one fell swoop.

I really appreciate the onomatopoeia of "crash" finishing his sentence. It's a really clever use of panel flow, and let's it really sell the motion.

Enough other compliments have been made about how funny it is so I'm gonna nerd on your technical skills instead.

I do wish their was some more texture to the meat stick throne, but that's just cause I find the visual idea to be funny.

Thank you. I appreciate that you took the effort to give specific compliments and critique.

I agree about the meat stick throne. I wish I had taken a little more time with the watercolour application, maybe so that the red of the meat sticks would be the focus of the last panel, and not be competing with blues and pinks.

I also hesitated to show the trucker on a meat throne, because I wanted him to be less of a king and more of an equal participant in the revelry, but I couldn't think of another pose for him. Plus... meat stick throne!!

Just for fun, I'm attempting to attach another photo I took of the comic, in sunlight, with brighter colours.

You should interpret it as me making this comic quickly and forgetting to fill in his hair colour in the second panel

The magic forest restored his youth.

Also, thank you for the nice compliment!

  • Wakes up from a coma in a hospital bed 10 years later. Realizes it was all a β€œdream” from his head injury sustained in the crash. As he accepts his return to reality he gets wheeled out to a car in a wheelchair and turns to thank the nurse and say goodby to the hospital. The nurse is one of the woodland creatures.
