I like to think we don't believe in the death penalty because it is greater torture to give them a life sentence.

Make the company have to pivot to a nonprofit to fix their items they caused damage to. Push them to retribution and penance through enough legal red tape they die on their own

I saw a comment suggesting companies should "go to jail" like a criminal would, and you have them limit how much they are allowed to interact with the public world until their sentence is up.

I think it's a pretty interesting way to deal with it. It makes sense for retribution and it forces companies to have cash on hand to cover costs while "locked up" to cover costs. It would really make businesses risk averse.

It feels like om of those, "What are there more of in this world, eyeballs or legs?", kinds of thoughts but I think I am firmly in the:
Humans make a lot of bad stuff just for the sake of making stuff category.

Not a pessimist, just a realist, I have seen what's on Wattpad.

This list was pointless. It really pushed the idea that it needs to be a drama or "premier" television first and then feels like they realized they were doing it and dumped a bunch of stuff they remembered after that fact towards the bottom, mostly pushing just recent shows they remember.

Like seriously no Scrubs? Avatar the Last Airbender? Planet Earth? Top Gear?

Items with far more cultural impact than Pen15. So this is a me opinion piece at best.
