Luigi's method is what's needed and inevitable when the rich and their pet politicians stop Mario from fixing things the polite way for long enough.

Luigi is going to be a very successful celebrity when he gets out of prison. I know I'll be sending him a few dollars once he gets out and starts a patreon.
He's pretty successful now and you are welcome to add to his legal fund or his comissionary in jail.
Oh, I'm outside the US so I'm sure giving money to a US prison for his account would be needlessly convoluted, not to mention My ethical issues with paying a prison. I'll wait until he's free so he can spend every dollar I give him on whatever he wants, at the same prices free people pay.
I just think you don't care enough.
Words are cheap without action.
UK here, happily gave money to the fund (don't care about the taxes)
They have a really good point, and it's super clear neither of you have been to prison. Money in commissary at one place not following when you get transferred and money staying with the prison when you get released are both real problems. More than ~$1k on your books really isn't an advantage, can't buy much past snacks/hygiene/sometimes very limited entertainment stuff anyways. Withholding entirely until he's out is pretty lame though, being able to buy a toothbrush and a tiny bag of chips for $25 is the least he deserves. I've never dealt with someone famous being locked up, but usually you try to get money to someone outside they trust who can pay lawyers/put it on books as needed
Speak softly, and carry a big gun.
Marios planned failed, prop 40 didn't pass. Luigi's might work
Allegedly says
He has admitted in court that he purposefully killed Thompson and has pled guilty to stalking causing death.
I shot Mr Thompson and he died. I understood that my actions would place him in fear of death or bodily injury. I knew what I was doing was illegal.
His murder trial is up in the air because of rules around double jeopardy, but the fact that he did purposefully kill Thompson is no longer alleged.
Allegedly admitted in court
/s -- I have not been following the trial, had not seen he confessed to it. I still think they fucked him on procedure, and even if he's guilty this is one case where I would like to see those procedural violations result in acquittal.
You do have to remember that pigs/prosecutors often use pressure, lies, and threats to get people to take plea deals to crimes they did not commit.
