i know the ratchet effect, but let me be happy that things won't go bad as quickly as they have been doing for a while.

and what I like about this election, it proved that progressives will win.

    Can win?

Looking at it I see very few "progressives" unless youre expanding the term.

It's also been proven that you don't need to rely on corporate donors to win elections. So the establishment excuse of doing nothing because they need corporate sponsors seems completely self serving now.

The political consultant class is pissed off and afraid.

Also let's revel in the fact that Elon spent half a billion dollars and still lost.

Everyone celebrating as if the Dems ever do anything with their power. As if they didn't systematically throw trans people under the bus for no reason to get these wins. As if they don't support endless war and genocide. As if they actually care about making this county better and not just enriching themselves.

And what are you doing to change any of this on the local level? Nothing, because complaining is easier? If you want change, you have to participate actively.

I'm actively involved in local politics and agitating for more. I'm in my local communities organizing. I'm helping local businesses get resources to unionize. What are you doing?

That's great! I hope you complain and demoralize people less in person while organizing your revolution.

    What are you doing?

Happily not living in the US.

Because your country's shitty system fucks us over all the way here, and the only influence I have here is to tell your people to fucking vote blue to at least have some stability. I know you want something perfect, but for me it's enough to not have another war and refugee crisis in Europe.

So just go to your fucking voting booth and do the right thing. Or start your fucking revolution. Do anything but whine online like a fucking baby, we all know what you're trying to say, but it's just playing for team fascist.
