Here in Australia our far right wing party at the moment is talking about a mono culture and only accepting people who would blend into our culture

The only people we ever seem to have trouble with in my hiking group are right wingers. Everyone else seems to get along fine.

In climbing gyms, nobody has a problem with trans community joining womxns night either

Yet again, it seems to be right wingers who have never even spoken to a trans person blasting online to the women in those groups they're in danger

My understanding (though I am a man, so grain of salt) is that women's nights are often not about only having women, but for having a time where the people feel safe, and that they aren't going to be preyed upon. Trans people have many of the same issues as women in this way, so it makes sense to include them. It should be a "statistically more likely to be assaulted than assault" night, but that name doesn't sound very good. I guess a "no men" night also works, but also doesn't sound good.

An actual practicing christian, instead of the bulk of the right-wing repugnants who claim to be.

Keep in mind Biden was sworn into office on a 100+ year old family bible, and actually attended mass while in office. As opposed to the orange pedo who only wants to sell his-branded bibles

We should have more agnostics and atheists in office as a sign of critical thinking skills are in order to be honest. As a christian who's deconstructed, I trust no politician who's ever been a pastor. I trust republicans less of course, but religion is only useful as therapy for poor and history-uneducated, like I used to be, in my opinion.

But they get more money for themselves & their campaigns by fucking the people over. Most people who want to be in politics are there for the attention & power because they're self-centered cunts - it's just that simple.

It's almost like their religious affiliations don't matter and they're just doing their jobs as prescribed by the people who voted for them.

    Amazing.

@mechoman444 as Abdul El-sayed said. "i'm running for senate and i happen to be Muslim"as a response to asking if he would reject the muslim brotherhood. the person asking the question stated they would not reject forcing christianity into government 🤷‍♂️ #rulesfortheeNotForMe #abdulelsayed #tommy #michigan

I think the point I'm trying to make is that I don't care what religion somebody is as long as they do their jobs.

As an atheist I believe completely that people should be able to believe and worship whoever they want within reason.

@mechoman444@lemme.world yes. totally agree. just sharing Abdul's response when questioned by a christian nationalist that wants to force their religion on everyone. those afraid of a muslim or Hindi or satanist politician are only afraid because they think everyone thinks like them and would force their beliefs on others. im sure there are plenty in all religions that would. but those people tend to be conservative politicians not progressive

Religious affiliations don't matter until they do.

I encourage you to look at the fall of Yugoslavia.

I made my first ever political campaign donation just last week! I already knew I was voting for AES, but after his Chris Hayes interview, I literally stopped what I was doing at work and made a contribution! :) I rooting for all three of them! If I had more, I’d donate more.

To whom is this advertisement targeted? It's bringing up a negative quality about them that's just less negative than their counterparts in office.

The point is they work for the people first not their religion. Can't make the point without mentioning it.

I agree it's negative though, I wish humanity would just mature already.

They better not run John Ossoff for president in 28 or we’re gonna end up with President JD Vance

Libs really believe that obeying the enslaver's pact is somehow good.

This is how liberalism enables fascism.
