Didn't Lukashanko shoot this down like instantly saying they neither have the production or the infastructure to do this? Double checked, ya Trump talking out his ass.

He’s desperate to have some wins to sell to the populace so he’s massively overselling everything. Based on his social media post, the US now basically owns Greenland (which really doesn’t seem to be the case).

I seem to recall looking up the outputs of various countries a while back and discovering that Belarus doesn't produce enough potash to supply US needs even if they exported their entire production to them.

Bullshit, Belarus isn't going to supply a damn thing across contested borders and international waters that wouldn't be cheaper from Canada right next door.

Dictators can get deep discounts when it comes to helping carve up traditional western alliances.

They really just need to show that it's "plausible" to the common American that it's an option, and then they can spin that into cutting more trade with Canada and continuing to ramp up their anti-Canada propaganda / destructive influence campaigns (ex. Alberta separatists).

Understandable since Trump is having his milk war on Canada.

Now Canada needs to put a 100% export tariff on potash.

Trump helping prop up Russian allies? No, couldn't be.
