I honestly loved HR when I had a good employer but it was only to cover Mat leave. I love helping people with there schedules, organizing, helping people through tough times and I absolutely love hiring people. But when it comes to suppressing workers rights, its fucken awful.

I went to university for HR and one of the biggest concepts they emphasized was the importance of remaining neutral, since HR guidance can affect the entire workplace. We were also taught that part of our job is to protect the organization from lawsuits, so always do the right thing. But as soon as I entered the workforce, I learned very quickly that companies will ignore your advice and order you to do illegal shit. Miserable, toxic workplaces.. I have worked for good workplaces as well but moved on to social work as I find it much more fulfilling.

We have a young candidate on city council in my hometown who genuinely cares, works hard, and pushes for fresh ideas and popular development. Unfortunately, the old guard, some of whom have been there for over 30 years, seems to oppose everything he proposes. He wanted to renovate our aging auditorium, a vital part of the community, arguing it would be cheaper than building a completely new project. Council rejected the idea then voted to spend millions on new pickleball courts. It’s frustrating to see the old members who have done so many counter productive things for the city just push for stupid shit they like.

Ok this is gonna be risky so please read and undertsand i'm not coming from a milicious place. I've always looked at nationalistic pride on a similar plane as LGTB Pride. Alot of folks did not respect their right to exist and want the culture removed from the earth. Personally, yes but also im seen this stuff not work at all. I help people alot on a large programming discord and ive seen schizophrenic coding and its always AI. I usually tell them I can't help you because its almost all wrong. They are usually upset but the code makes up non existent calls and what not. I'm thinking when they took all the content from GIT it did much more damage to the AI than they realize yet. Then people post about the code and they replug the code into AI, making a shit eater, eat its own shit.

I was just talking to my mom about this, I used to be left handed. Then my teacher forced me to write right and slowly it became my dominant hand. Even though left handed feels better, I dont have the coordination or muscle memory to use it anymore. I feel like it really screwed up alot of my body coordination..
