is that why they're attacking him over saying INSANE things like ''Isreal the state isn't equal to all Jewish people''

Moderates' only goal is the extinction of the Palestinian people.

This is just part of that.

Calling anyone who disagrees with you in any way pro genocide feels just like the fascists in power calling anyone who disagrees with them corrupt pedophiles. You can't do that then act like them not liking you is proof you're right.

Calling anyone who disagrees with you in any way pro genocide

If I had ever seen centrists fight for anything else, I would say so.

You can’t do that then act like them not liking you is proof you’re right.

Their actions are all the proof I need. When they start making excuses for not selling weapons for genocide like they make excuses for not doing the things they actually campaign on, I'll believe they have another policy. Until then, why should I trust people who only fight for genocide and only fight against the left?

Don't care about this guy. He isn't in my district. He isn't even running for office. His opinion does not matter to me.

Nick Fuentes is not in my district and didn't even run for office, therefore it was unreasonable of me to care when Trump met with him.

I've heard of him taking the Russian view of reality at least a few times, so I think the centrists might have a point. What's his view on if and how we should support Ukraine?

Hasan's views on the Russo-Ukrainian war largely align with the DSA's views, essentially condemning Russia but agreeing with the Marxists that NATO expansionism caused and provoked the conflict in the first place.

There are definitely significant elements in it that are falling for Russian propaganda. There are probably some individuals in it who are working for him too, but I couldn't tell you how many.

Keep in mind that the MAGA people thought they were going to fix this country too.

Socialist opposition to NATO predates Putin's presidency. How do you square socialist opposition to NATO historically with the idea that this is a new phenomenon from Putin?

  • source
  • parent
  • [–] 7 points 2 months ago

The DSA is in Putin's pocket too? Since when did disagreeing with NATO mean you had to be paid by Russia? Opposition to NATO has been a core part of the anti-imperialist left since NATO's inception.

You're gonna need to work on your English and be a little more coherent in general before I take your thoughts on American politics seriously.

I am not friends with the centrists. I just know that if the progressive movement buys too much pro-Russia propaganda, we're just going to end up in the same place Trump is taking us by a different road. Half the party is already taking money from Israel and that's already bad. If the other half starts following Russia's influence, it will end up the same as the Republicans.

You are literally participating in republicans smearing campaign against people wanting a better democratic party. You will help Trump and republicans than shifting blame to others like the dsa when your party fail

It's more like he's the figurehead that all the tankies will defend no matter what. Kinda like MAGA with Trump expect Hasan isn't a politician. MAGA and moderate Republicans (if there are any left at this point) wants to make it look like the entire left is Hasan Piker, and thus moderates disavowed him before they are harassed with all the indefensible things he has said and done over the years like some DSA candidates are dealing with now for biting this bullet

Most communists are pretty critical of Hasan for being a reformist, rather than a revolutionary. Further, Hasan's views generally align very closely with the DSA's views, though the DSA isn't democratic centralist so there is quite a lot of regional variety on the party line.

I see the centrist wing has found its most recent Jeremiah Wright.

Remember in 2024 when the mere suggestion that centrists' beloved-above-all-else genocide wasn't the best thing ever was helping trump?

Funny how the genocide wing's constant demonization of everyone to their left somehow isn't helping trump.

I guess it only counts if you actually disagree with trump, and no centrist ever will.

2024 was the easiest election in history but americans squandered it.

Letting terrorist supporting freaks like Hasan in is the republicans' wet dream. You don't have to let the worst freaks in just because they are left/socialist and popular. You can be left and not be like Hasan.

I already don't forgive americans for squandering 2024 so there isn't much more to say than I hope you don't squander 2026 and 2028.

So you are ok with that person calling Hassan a terrorist supporter but you have a problem with me using the same word. Someone who reject palestinians right to attack the genocidal army who is trying to exterminate them is a terrorist supporter.

The resistance has a right to respond to genocidal occupation with force. Israel is a terroristic, genocidal, settler-colony, and thus resistance to its constant terrorist attacks, expansionism, and genocide is justified. Yemen and Hezbollah are not the terrorists, Israel is, as it quite literally uses threat of terror as a weapon.

Victim of a settler colonial power has the right to resist. The terrorist supporters are people like you who want israeli to exterminate whole population with no resistance

You are not as smart as you think. You know very well that both “centrist” Democrats and Republicans are targeting Hassan because he is anti-genocide, and yet you are still participating in the smearing campaign because you support the Republicans, centrist Democrats, and Israeli terrorists.

Just like I hate Trump because he wants to make America great again. My concern about hasan is about maga-style group-think and authoritarian beliefs, not being anti genocide or wanting free healthcare.

Tell me I support genocide again though, it's an easy way to shut out dissenting voices.

You don't have to force genocidal garbage on us every time either, but centrists love nothing in this world but murdering Palestinians, and they're happy to lose to fascists as long as they get their genocide.

You have to understand, the best way to stop genocide was to allow Netanyahu's preferred candidate to win.

You have to understand that the best way to stop genocide is to reject Palestinians' right to resist and beg Israel to stop the extermination, while at the same time giving them weapons to commit genocide.

Centrists got their preferred candidate as soon as there was no anti-genocide candidate from either major party. You won when you cheated Americans out of another primary. I'd say to enjoy trump, but he's supportinmg genocide so you're way ahead of me on that.

Fucking times up, centrists, and you still don’t have any policy alternatives to the VERY popular proposals by the actual left dems. What the hell are you guys doing with all your time? Never mind, it’s probably best we don’t know.
