There is at least one buccees in VA. They lost my money because they changed their mind about building EV charging there. I was gonna go there during a road trip to shop for road trip crap while charging my car, but I had to go somewhere else to charge. Short sighted as fuck. I was gonna get jerky and a sandwich and some snacks and a drink or two, plus my wife probably wanted some stuff. But no, fuck those hippies, their money is no good here.

I don't think I could even imagine a business that would benefit more from having electric chargers outside than Buccees. Hilariously short sighted of them.

I've said for a while that movie theaters would do great with level 2 chargers in their lots

My local theater had that (before the theater shut down)! It was great. I left Thor Love and Thunder to a note stuck to my car from the Tesla owner next to me asking me to plug him in when I was done (it was a free charger to boot).

That’s like a main theme of the republican agenda. Own the libs and shoot themselves in the foot.

  • I mean the Musk part of it is just weird. He owns an EV company, spends his money to hurt EV sales, supports Texas being anti EVs, but wants to move all his businesses there. Like the whole EV cab business only works if the people are willing to get in the cabs. And he's trying to convince people on the right to hate them, and the left to hate him...

So he has to be losing half the market intentionally it seems.
