Can't escape AI slop projects from meat proxies man. Every single open source project smells like Claude Code recently. Sad times.

Because wanna be programmers don’t want to learn a real language like c or c++ or anything else. Thats from what I hear from coworkers. I just use python, sql, and c++ for basic crap.

Why is c++ a "real" language and not rust? It's a tool. All programmers need to know logic above a specific language.

Yeah buddy I know logic and c and c++ are better lower level languages and they give you more understanding and freedom in you tool usage. Rust was made for people who don’t develop. Hope that helps you understand what I said more without you putting words in my mouth.

Yes? That comment is not disrespecting Rust. I think you should learn to read.

Oh, I read perfectly well. You praised Rust, then dismissed 99.99% of its projects as "slop".

I think you should learn to formulate an argument without relying on ad-hominems and logical fallacies. Then you might have an opinion worth expressing.

Both can be true. Language is great. Users are mostly slop coders. What makes you think second invalidates the first?

Never said the two were mutually exclusive. You invented that argument, then congratulated yourself for winning it.

You claim 99.99% of Rust projects are slop. Bold claim, big man. But apart from shitposting a meme, you've provided precisely zero evidence.

You also apparently don't understand what agents.md is for.

For someone so concerned about the quality of other people's code, your own logic sure could use some serious debugging.

Why are you so pressed about my post? You are trying to reply to all my comments. It's genuinely kinda funny to see you like this.

Your comments sound AI generated btw. Either they are or you used it so much that you started to sound like them.

Come on tell me "ad hominem" again.

Lol at "pressed". You're loud and you're all over this thread like a rash. I'm taking a shit at the dentist and replying to you. That should tell you how much your posts matter to me. It's literally up there between getting cavities filled and flushing a turd.

And yes, I get it. Big words and basic logic confuses you. No wonder you think my replies are AI-generated.

"If you disagree with me, you must be a machine. Say ad-hominem again!".

You've gone from "99.99% of Rust projects are slop" to critiquing my writing style and implying I'm a clanker. But still no evidence for anything you're caviling against. Still no logic. Still no idea about agents.md, Kant or much of anything. Lots of big feelings though. Lots of personal insults and shit talking.

Oh look - I used 3 in a row. Must be AI gen.

    TTFN.

"Ad hominem" is when you try to discredit an argument BY attacking its speaker. Someone saying something about you that you took negatively doesn't mean they're trying to attack your argument that way. They might just be changing the subject off of noticing problems with your approach.

You're jumping into the middle of a conversation where OP delightfully asked if Claude was puppeteering me anally when I asked him if he knew what ethical meant, besides several other bon mots and snide remarks to myself and other posters.

View the full conversation in context.

OP has an FuckAI axe to grind (click their post history), not a substantive point to make.

This is not a serious thread. This is a dogwhistle for the FuckAI crowd.

You're talking loud, but say so little.

Your post history is an argument. You made it - in public. I’m just citing it.

PS: I believe in you too, champ.

PPS: Still waiting on well...frankly anything not resembling a brain fart from you. You can do it! Maximum effort!

Lmao cpp is not a real language, it's c with a bunch of OOP bloat on top. Imagine calling React a language.
