reason: OP edited website and post to disclose that only about a third of the lessons have been reviewed by a human

reason: lemmy.ml rule 2

reason: asked OP to edit post to clearly/prominently disclose the level of human review the project has had, which they've only mentioned in a comment so far (where they said only 30% of lessons reviewed) - will undelete if/when the requested edit is made

reason: offtopic/harassment/drama - i don't think we need a post about this memoir in /c/opensource and if we do then this scathing review from a throwaway account (which appears to have beef with both the subject and the FSF) is not it. also the comments so far already have many lemmy.ml rule 1 and 2 violations, smh my head

reason: actually those faq entries aren't as bad as i thought, reading closer i see now it does say elsewhere it has an online mode. still slop but not as hilariously bad as i thought.

reason: hilariously bad slop. i especially like the "is my API key saved" (wat?) and "does it work offline" FAQ answers. 😂

reason: not open source - fundamentally relies on cloudflare and Firebase Cloud Messaging. also, it's snakeoil: "No central server means no central point to fail, be compromised, or be compelled to hand over data" - what about your cloud providers? 🤦

reason: you posted this here last week https://lemmy.ml/post/45784457

reason: offtopic in /c/opensource - the design for this is a paywalled download. it *might* actually be open source but i'm pretty sure it is not.

reason: lemmy.ml rule 4, and /c/opensource rule 2 - this app does appear to be open source but telegram's infra is not, and relying on telegram continuing to provide what the project's own readme calls "insane free cloud storage" is obviously a bad idea.
